The rooms are all large, tons of linens, towels, and bikes!!! Loved having access to ride around the neighborhood and into town. Owner was super responsive and helpful. Look forward to staying again!

Perfect home base for enjoying the island!
We had a wonderful week at this property. Highlights include walking to Morning Glory Farm and biking to Edgartown & South Beach. The house felt spacious (2 adults, 2 teens), and the bedrooms were very comfortable & peaceful. Susan (the owner) was very helpful & accommodating. Thank you!
A beautful spot for long walks and talks among friends. The house was lovely - perfect for two couples. The kitchen was well-appointed and everything was clean. The grill was an added delight. And imagine our joy at the wild turkeys walking through the yard, as well as all the other wildlife we encountered on the island. Thank you to our hosts for making your home available to us!
We had a wonderful stay at this house last week. The house comfortably fit our family of four adults and one child. It was conveniently located near Morning Glory farm and a ten minute drive outside Edgartown. The highlight of the house was the large deck (with grill) and grassy backyard surrounded by trees. We made good use of the bicycles and cornhole game provided by the owner.
Overall we had a nice stay. Location was amazing and Susan was a good communicator. The house is cute and has a great open concept layout. The house did have a musty smell which bothered us. I recommend bringing air fresheners or candles if you are sensitive to smells. I wish that they hired a professional cleaning company. I didn’t love the fact that we had to clean and do laundry early before our departure, as we were on vacation we would have gladly paid a cleaning fee to avoid that. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
The house is very nice, but the deck REALLY needs to be redone. There are many nails that have popped up, so it is not safe to walk on it without shoes on. Also, there was at least one of the planks that was warped and sticking up--a real tripping hazard.
This is a great place to base Vineyard activities, whether biking, hiking, exploring...We have tons of Vineyard experience and end up doing stuff all over the island. This place-although not centrally located like a place in West Tisbury would be- was great. I am sure in the warmer months, the outdoor patio and grill would come in very handy.
My partner and I stayed in this home over a long weekend while on the island for a wedding. The property and home is quite nice, quiet, and relaxing. It has the usual amenities for a Vrbo rental in terms of a kitchen, bedding and toiletries. There are some welcome additions for recreation such as bikes and items to borrow for a beach day. Overall on the minimal side, furniture was comfortable but nothing special. We enjoyed our stay even if we didn't get to enjoy some of the benefits of the home due to our limited time visiting -- I would recommend the home for folks needing multiple rooms like a family for a longer stay. Location was pretty good, most trips into town and other attractions were under 15 minutes. Check-out process was meh requiring doing laundry (wash and dry) for linens and towels with small household washer and dryer which ate up the morning we would have rather enjoyed heading into town. This would have been nicer to strip linens and start the laundry for the cleaners without having to stick around waiting for the machine cycles with a 10am check out.
Nice house in quiet neighborhood, but easy access to main routes for getting around island. Nice yard surrounded by woods for children to play. Peaceful. House is well equipped.
This house is great for a small family. The outdoor amenities were terrific. The place was very bright and the yard was lovely. Quiet and serene and susan was very accomodating. Walking distance to a great produce market. Will stay here again.
We were very pleased with this property. The home is on a quiet street. It has a large backyard in a wooded setting. We watched turkey and deer walk past. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a large deck with a dining table.
My husband, son and his girlfriend spent four nights at the house. We really enjoyed the beautiful setting and the spacious house. The kitchen was nice, as was the deck in good weather. We used the cruiser bikes several time and they were fun.
Only down sides: maybe a queen in the downstairs room. Also, it was hard to get all the laundry done before we left.
Overall, we really enjoyed the house, the location and Marthas Vineyard!
This is an open, inviting house - a joy to stay in - surrounded by trees (and on occasion visited by turkeys), yet within walking distance of Morning Glory Farm. The owners are readily reachable if you have questions or problems. Strongly recommend.
The house was just as described in the photos and listing. Everything was clean, the beds were good, and the screens were well-fitted, which are my three top criteria in a vacation rental. We had a great time!
After having spent many years visiting MV, we purchased our house in 2002 as our 'home away from home' as we were living in France at the time. In 2004, we decided to move to the Island and live there permanently. After 10 years of mostly island living (and then with teenagers!), we decided to move to 'America' and are currently living right across the pond!
Why they chose this property
Our home has a great 'open' feel to it, yet it intimate too. Surrounded by conservation land on two sides allows for a peaceful, serene setting, yet one is never far from all the action.
