Need to get away from the frenzy of everyday life??? Come visit us at *Ashore Thing* Beach Cottage on Beautiful Anna Maria Island. Once you arrive you'll see why Coastal Living magazine hails us as a 'Dream Town' with no high rise condos and 35 mph and under speed limit; it is perfect for families. As you cross the bridge your view of the shimmering waters surrounding our island will wash all your worries away and you'll know that you are truly in Paradise.
*Ashore Thing* Beach Cottage is a 4Bed/3Bath home which has been meticulously and lovingly renovated. It is furnished 'Beachy Chic' and stocked with all the amenities you could want. The interior is a reflection of the beautiful Island with hues of azure blue to sunshine yellow, all to bring the tropical outdoors in. This is our 2nd home so unlike other vacation properties with just the basics, it is equipped with everything to make your vacation stress free and memorable with all the comforts of home. The first thing that will take your breath away is the Pool/Spa (one of the largest on the Island) with large pavered deck area and lots of spacious seating. As you enter Ashore Thing, you will find a spacious dining area with a large 72” round dining table that seats eight comfortably and a foosball table for family fun. The second open family room has plenty of space for everyone to gather and relax on new comfy furnishings. The kitchen with new quartz and stainless appliances featuring premiere cookware with all the accoutrements will make the chef in you happy. For grilling we have you covered with a large gas grill. Now you must make the tough decision of dining indoors or alfresco poolside. Take a quick stroll to see the sunset before dinner. The beach is less than one minute away. Of course you will want to visit one of the numerous restaurants on the Island to experience some sumptuous local fare. Before the day is over enjoy a luxurious soak in the spa. Let the gentle swirl of the spa prepare you for the nights slumber, an ending to a perfect day before you slip into your cozy bed!
The downstairs master features a new king bed and ensuite bathroom. Additionally there is a second king bedroom with flat screen that is off the family room. Upstairs you will find a king guest room with flatscreen, a fourth guest is outfitted with two twin beds perfect for the kids or the kid in you! Upstairs guest rooms share the third guest bath.
Wake up and take an early morning stroll on the beach, as the sun rises you will see the island come to life.
Spend the day on the white powder sands looking out at the gulf as you listen to the waves lapping at the shore; you might just catch a glimpse of dolphins frolicking in the waves. If you are visiting during the months' of May -October you might get to witness the Turtle Hatchlings going back to sea. This is truly a spectacular sight! Beach cart, chairs, umbrellas, toys and towels supplied. All you need is your bathing suit. Keep your frozen daiquiris on ice at the cottage, you are so close that it is less than a one minute walk to get a fresh one.
Our cottage is so ideally located. You are just four doors to the Turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico and two blocks from the Bay. Within walking distance to shopping, dining and the free island trolley. Anna Maria Island truly is a 'Hidden Gem' there is so much to do and see here. Go fishing at the Rod & Reel Pier or visit Ginny and Jane E's at the old IGA for coffee, pastries and dine amongst the eclectic furnishings which are also available for sale. Rent a bike or just stroll to explore the Island, it is very pedestrian friendly. Take in Main Street on the North End or Bridge Street by Bradenton Beach, it is all so close on our 7-by 2-mile Island. Kayak, fish, golf or just relax and do nothing, it is up to you. Ponce de Leon supposedly named the Island Anna Maria after the queen of Charles II of Spain Marie Anna. We like to think it is the hidden Fountain of Youth as you will leave here Refreshed and Rejuvenated! You will know that it is *Ashore Thing* when you stay at this lovely beach cottage on AMI.

OCCUPANCY: Our rental rates are based upon two persons per bedroom. Children are counted in total occupancy unless they are under the age of two. OVER OCCUPANCY IS CONSIDERED A SERIOUS VIOLATION OF YOUR LEASE, and we will deny access or have the premises vacated with NO refund of monies.
