Sipplingen is a recognized vacation resort on the northwestern part of Lake Constance, the fjord-like Überlingen Lake, framed by orchards, forests and steep rocky shores.

Sipplingen has a picturesque village center with church, town hall and old farmhouses, a beautiful lakeside promenade with a large lido, with playgrounds and 2 marinas. Stores for daily needs, bank branches and doctor's offices are available in the village.



All water sports like swimming, diving, surfing, sailing and fishing are possible on site. Sipplingen and Überlingen have sailing and surfing schools with boat rentals. In Überlingen there is an attractive thermal bath (Bodenseetherme) with sauna and wellness area directly at the lakeside.

Around Sipplingen and Überlingen, well-maintained paths through meadows and forests invite you to take wonderful hikes with picturesque views of Lake Constance and the Alps. Cycling tours on the Lake Constance Cycle Route are also possible from Sipplingen in stages in combination with train, bus or boat trips. Wonderful golf courses in the enchanting surroundings of Überlingen/Owingen, Constance/Langenrain and at Langenstein Castle invite you to play and relax.

Due to the hillside location and the numerous stairs, the vacation home is not suitable for people with walking difficulties and small children. Both in the house as well as on the terrace and in the grounds barbecue is not allowed for fire safety reasons. Separate barbecue areas set up by the municipality of Sipplingen can be requested at the Tourist Information.
