Welcome to Our Heavenly Condo!

Welcome to our heavenly condo! Our 3BR, 2Bath, approximately 1200 square foot upper-level condo is located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe minutes from Heavenly Ski Resort, Ski Run Marina, Bike Rentals, Shopping, Dining, Casinos, and all Lake activities. City of South Lake Tahoe VHR permit #332599

The Bavarian Village condo complex is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and features a community heated seasonal pool and year-round hot tub just steps from the front door. There is private high-speed cable internet with wi-fi in the unit as well as access to the complex-wide community shared bandwidth wi-fi (other rental units offer only shared bandwidth community wi-fi). There is also a laundromat on site.

Inside, the condo features all the comforts of home, including a full-sized family room with 2 La-Z-Boy sofas, a 50' flat screen HD smart TV with streaming services, and a Wii.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the comforts of home, including: full-size oven/stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, griddle, and blender, and an Instant Pot!

The Master suite is furnished with a King bed and a flat-screen HD TV as well as a private full-size bathroom. The second bedroom features a queen bed, and third bedroom is furnished with two twin beds. The second bathroom is a shared hall full-sized bathroom with a tub. There are plenty of towels and linens in all bedrooms.

The condo is family ready, equipped with a pack and play, high chair, beach toys, snow sleds, and children's dinnerware on site.

As per City of South Lake Tahoe ordinance, the condo is equipped with an outdoor video monitor and an indoor noise monitor.

Very comfortable and clean!

We were here for a soccer tournament and this was the perfect place for our large family. The king bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was in great condition and it was exceptionally clean - which I personally appreciated. It was convenient to the resort but out of the way of the traffic and crowds. Thanks again for a very pleasant stay.

Fun in the sun in Tahoe

The property worked out great for our group. Just the right amount of beds. And plenty of room in the shared areas for eating and playing games. Well-stocked kitchen. Only negative was since it was pretty hot weather when we were there, it would've been nice to have some air conditioning; heater only. Overall, however, we really liked it there. Having the pool and hot tub available was nice, too.

Wonderful condo

We were so happy with our stay. The condo is beautifully decorated with everything we needed. My children were thrilled to see a cribbage board among the games in the condo, as cribbage is a favorite family game. We enjoyed using the pool during our stay and sitting on the porch in the evenings. The condo was close to many of the activities we wanted to do during our trip. We look forward to coming back in the future.

Great vacation

This is a very cozy property located in an area with other condos/apartments. The pool was just across the street and down about 25 yards from the front door. There were enough plates, pots, pans, utensils, cups, bowls, etc. There was plenty of seating for our group of 6 for meals and relaxing after a day at the lake or hiking. We also had bath and hand towels and toilet paper (some places we stayed at did not have this). The furniture was comfortable and well maintained. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Wonderful Winter Family Stay in South Lake

My wife and I hosted a long ski weekend for our two siblings at this great property. We had a very pleasant stay, enjoyed the well appointed and renovated condo, the hot tub, and central location in South Lake. The check in process was very easy and Jennifer was very responsive to our needs. We did have a snag where the cleaners had not arrived prior to our check in. Jennifer was very responsive in getting a resolution and we had a very pleasant time overall. Things we especially enjoyed included the well stocked kitchen, the fireplace, the kid friendly items (crib, books, toys), and the spacious living room. Our one wish was that the hot tub was bigger - it did get crowded an peak times but we were always able to find a time to use it. Would definitely stay here on a future visit.

Heavenly Condo

The condo is great. It's closr yo everything, all ski resorts, shopping, restaurants, night life and everything else. The kitchen is well stocked, the house was very clean and the fireplace brought the warmth into the place. I would definitely stay here agaim.

Relaxing Condo

You won't regret staying at this second floor condo. With a covered front porch and an organized design layout, this place will exceed your expectations. This is our six time using HomeAway.com rentals and we found this condo the most organized and most recently renovated from others we stayed in. The foam mattresses were comfortable as well as the assortment of kitchen supplies in which to cook with. We were lucky to have sharp knives, a griddle, good pans, bakeware and dishes to use in this condo. It had great wifi a, water pressure and close proximity to the Safeway Food market which worked well for our 2 teenage sons. The location was close to several nice hikes along the lakes of Emerald, Echo, Falling Leaf, and the Tallac Resort as well as on the Heavenly ski slope up to 10,040 feet. At first we missed having an air conditioner and washer/dryer, however found opening windows and using the coinless (credit card) machines at the pool worked perfectly fine. If we come again to the lake in the summer months we will choose this place again; however, if you are looking for winter sports, this location is only a couple of miles north of the Heavenly ski slope on a well traveled main road.

This place was everything and more! Working with Jennifer was super easy and convenient. Everything was super clean and made life easy when we decided to get groceries and cook at home. When we come back this will be the same place we book again. The bedrooms very spacious and the beds put you to sleep. The property is 5 minutes from whatever you'll need to do in South Lake Tahoe.

Christmas Ski Vacation 2015

After spending a lot of time trying to find a place to rent in South Tahoe we settled on this condo. The owner, Jennifer was very helpful and had the place very well stocked. We didn't need anything. It is located at a dead end which is really nice. Whiled we were there, it snowed more than a foot. The road crew did a great job plowing the road in a timely manner and it's not on a hill which is nice. We did look at condos that were closer to Heavenly but really glad we didn't stay there because those roads are such a mess. The condo is very big with three rooms. It was myself, my wife and our two little ones (2 and 4) along with my brother, his wife and his two kids (6 and 8). It fit us comfortably and with no issues. The entertainment system (flat screen and DVD player) along with Netflix was very nice. Internet worked great. Internet was mandatory so I could stay connected with work. Very surprised that there were places out there that didn't have it. There was an outside lockable closet for our ski gear and it also had some sleds for the kids to play with at the end of the road. Huge plus if you are here for winter fun. It's close to everything you need, Safeway and the rental at the corner of the main street and the street this condo is on had the best prices for ski and board rentals. The only two downsides was that it was an upstairs unit (but your parking is right there) and there was no washer/dryer in the unit (but there is a laundry room for the condos, but we made do without) Thank you Jennifer. I'd recommend anyone who is looking for place in South Tahoe to stay here.

Nice Bavarian Condo

I've stayed in this village before and this is by far the best condo I and the family have rented. Only reason I gave it a 4 star is the pool was not operational, (better luck next time), and the refund check was a little late in coming. Jennifer was great however, and this place has it all. Especially liked the fact it is an end unit with a separate balcony.

Excellent! Perfect! Clean!

Honestly, I hate sharing this amazing place now! I want it all for me!!! We spent our Xmas 2014 @ this place & I was pleasantly surprised at how great, spacious and clean this unit was! The location is fantastic - close to everything! The hot tub is right pretty much across the street. The unit is stocked up with all kinds of toys and games for kids. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. You can see how much owners love their place and take care of it. Everything was just wonderful. Can't wait to be back! Oh yes, and the Owner is very easy and great to work with! Thanks for sharing your condo with us!

By far the most family friendly vacation rental yet!

My family and I traveled to South Lake Tahoe and stayed at this great condo earlier this summer. What a treat! Upon arrival, we found the condo to be very clean and nicely appointed with many upgrades. There was plenty of room for my family of 5 in the living room, and the kids enjoyed the smart TV and it's apps, as well as the Wii while my husband and I unpacked the car. The kitchen was amply stocked with everything one would need to prepare any meal, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were stocked with plenty of linens, as well as bath and pool/beach towels. Our children felt very at home here with the small selection of toys available for their use, and meals were easy to enjoy with them with the availability of a high chair for our littlest, and kid-friendly dinnerware was there for our other small children. Everything we needed for a great vacation was here: beach toys, beach chairs, even a cooler bag for our days at the beach were on site. In the evenings, my husband and I appreciated the WiFi - super fast without any waiting around for downloads or problems streaming. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and were very helpful in answering any questions we had about the area, hikes, beaches, etc. It was a pleasure to stay here! We'll definitely be back!

Easiest Vacation Ever!

Owner was great to work with! Everything our family of six (kids are 9 to 17 y.o.) needed was there, including beach toys, towels, and chairs. Condo was extremely clean, all linens were high-end quality, and kitchen was well equipped for every meal, including new stove/oven and dishwasher. Highly recommend this condo for a relaxing, turn-key vacation!

Great for the family

A clean and well appointed family unit. The galley kitchen has everything you need to make a family meal or a quick lunch or snack. There is a BBQ at the foot of the stairs for your convenience. Just a few steps away from the family pool or hot tub for relaxing after a day of skiing or hiking. Ideal location just 10 minutes away from all the local amenities and restaurants or the fun and entertainment of Stateline. Far enough away from the hubbub of the traffic for some peace and quiet. The 3 bedrooms make it ideal for the family and the King bed was a bonus. The large living room and up-to-date entertainment center was perfect to occupy the kids while giving us some time together. The owner was a pleasure to work with and knowledgeable about what is available in the area. We will be returning. I would definitely recommend this unit.

We are a family of 5. We use the condo often for personal use and are thrilled to share our love of the mountains and the beach with you!

Why they chose this property

We chose the Bavarian Village because of it's fabulous location. In the winter, we enjoy a 5 minute drive to the California Lodge at Heavenly, or a quick walk down the road to catch the free ski shuttle. In the summer, El Dorado Beach is approximately 1 mile away. Bijou community golf course is within walking distance, and amenities such as groceries, shopping, and great local eats are all very close to the condo.

What makes this property unique

Our condo is a wonderful choice for all but especially for families traveling with children. The condo complex is on a cul-de-sac street, and most traffic in and out of the complex are residents and guests of the owners. The condo is equipped with a pack-n-play, high chair, toys, games, and more to keep your kids comfortable and your packing light!

We have high speed internet with wi-fi in the condo, so streaming movies or TV shows is a breeze.

We have worked very hard to provide a comfortable home away from home for you to enjoy while in the Lake Tahoe Basin. We sincerely hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.
