Off grid oasis! The stars were surreal, feels like another planet. Felt safe, cozy. Windows open with the breeze kept us nice and cool. Wished we stayed here the whole time on the big island!

We easily found this gem of a place. It was very cozy place to stay during the large Kona storm. It was close to the Volcano Park where we wanted to go visit. The hists were vwry easy to talk with and responded quickly when we had a question.I recommend this place!

Our stay at the cosmic lava cottage was fantastic. A unique experience to spend time on a lava bed! It was a great landing place to come back to after exploring black sand beaches, the volcano park and more. Perfect for my son and I! Thank you!!

Glamping on steroids - provides everything you need to stay comfortably, with an isolated, outdoorsy feel - but there is a neighborhood just behind you so you don't feel entirely out in the middle of nowhere which made us more comfortable. Quiet area, beautiful views of the stars, we even got to see the glow of the volcano eruption in the not too far distance. An air mattress was provided in the closet which we preferred to sleep on over the pull out couch. It was perfect for us to come to the island, hit a grocery store, cook some meals and relax at night and explore the island during the day. Solar and water worked great for our family of 4. This stay made our trip so much more unique and special as our first time on the island!
