This rustic but modern Cabin has all the amenities of home, plus a 7 person hot tub located under our 1200 sq ft covered porch over looking a beautiful valley that flows right into Pinnon Lake. Inside there are two bedrooms with queen beds in both and a sleeper sofa, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen. The living room includes a fireplace and 40 inch flat screen with satellite.

Thank you so much for the wonderful solo getaway vacation for my birthday. The place was perfect for me and the hot tub was just what I needed. I also want to say thank you for the magnet on the fridge for the zip line tour. It was like a sign for me to do it and it was AMAZING!!! Again, such a great time and thank you for the wonderful place to stay.

We were looking for a relaxing, comfortable place to stay away from crowds and close to nature. We found it here. The cabin was just secluded enough. It was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We were able to sit outside under the covered deck and enjoy the water view, deer and even a fox while the frogs chirped. The hot tub was a delight! The hosts were readily available and communicated well. We will definitely rebook!

The cabin was great for our family for graduation weekend! It was clean spacious and perfect for getting together after our events. The hot tub was a bonus and we did use it both evenings of our stay! It was close to some wineries and we were able to do some of that as well. Would come back and stay here again.

We had a wonderful, restful stay ! It’s amazing to be in the beautiful, serene countryside and see the deer and all the birds. Having the jacuzzi and bath tub made our stay extra relaxing!

This was our 2nd stay at Calies Cabin. We love it there! So peaceful, quiet and comfortable. The hot tub overlooks a pond with a beautiful view of the tree line and the sunset. We used the fire pit and the grill. We enjoyed seeing the cows next door, some deer, a fox, ducks flying overhead and hearing the bullfrogs. The only downside was the wood bees swarming above the hot tub. We had at least 3 fall in the water with us and one stung my husband. I still recommend this location and will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing the Cabin with us!!

This adorable little cabin was perfect for our stay to visit wineries in the local area. Extremely clean and in a great location. The owner was great to work with. Highly recommend!

Born and raised right here in Southern Il, I have one other Rental Cabin, and work as a operating engineer, also we have a small herd of cows that we enjoy taking care of. My wife is a full time mother and a beautician, also she takes care of making our cabins look brand new after each visitor. Together we have two wonderful children, one 6 one is 9.

Why they chose this property

This property has been in our family for close to 40 years. My father bought the land from my mothers uncle in the mid 70s and has farmed it and ran cattle on it every since. Now Dad is retired, and only has a few cows to keep him company, he also owns and operates Pinnon Lake Cabins that are located on the other end of the place.
