This property is a little jewel, in size for 2 to 4 people. It was seclude, quiet, modern, clean and nestled in nature perfect for a stress free week with the cherry on top with the hot tub. Would definitely recommend this lovely cabin several times over.
My fiance and I visited for a 4 night stay, and when I tell you we enjoyed every aspect! It was clean, very secluded, intimate and overall a much needed reset from life. Just what we needed! We will be returning in the future!
The cabin was very cozy and exceptionally clean. We had everything we needed and more. It was close to several of the wineries, which was a plus. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.
The cabin was everything the listing described. Perfect location along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Very secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill. Cabin was clean, comfortable, and was fully stocked with all necessities. Would absolutely recommend and would love to stay again in the future.
My wife and I spent a week at this cabin. It had everything we needed.Nice private and relaxing setting.
This was our 2nd visit and it was just as pleasant as the first
My husband and I stayed here for our 5-year wedding anniversary and had such a wonderful, relaxing time. The house is very private, and we were able to sit outside on the beautiful wrap around deck, listen to music and catch up. The scenery is just beautiful, beds were comfortable, felt very cozy. We loved the house, we will come back again!
We have stayed at a lot of cabins through out the 3 states and On the wine trail was the finest little get away we have stayed at in 29 yrs of anniversaries. Spotless an private with all the tools you need for romantic stay. The hospitality was second to none. Thank You
We spent a weekend just relaxing in the cabin. It is beautiful and clean. We loved that there was not a lot of cluttery decorations. The setup was great, the kitchen had all the things we needed for a weekend away. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and by the fire place. We would like to come back when the weather is more advantageous for hiking. We saw several deer behind the cabin. My only complaint was that the sheets were rough and the pillows were not great. We would definitely return!
This cabin in the woods was delightfully isolated and yet only 15 minutes from full civilization. Super clean and well-stocked. The hot tub was an excellent addition but the master shower tops it all. We will be back.
We had a relaxing anniversary trip and it was all the better because of the comfort and cleanliness of the cabin. The amenities were great (coffee, blow dryer, hot tub, and kitchenware). I have never stayed in the woods in a more pristine cabin. Absolutely flawless. The porch was our favorite place to relax and listen to the birds at night. Close drive (20mon) to Giant City if you like hiking. Thanks for the quick communication too!
This cabin was perfect for our stay! The pictures don't do justice to how nice it is. We were even greeted by a family of deer. There wasn't a picture of the bath on Vrbo. You won't be disappointed as the main bathroom is very nice. It has a big walk in shower. We loved the hot tub and fireplace. You will definitely want to follow their directions as Google and Waze were both wrong. Very secluded and romantic for a weekend away. We highly recommend staying and look forward to going back!

A swing and fowl ball. So close to perfect!!
So I decided to give my own ratings as I feel the general stars aren't accurate.10/10 Bathroom the shower is amazing10/10 kitchen super cute and good size10/10 living it was as described 10/10 hot tub, outdoors and deck area it was awesome10/10 views and wildlife5/10 beds (bedrooms good size) but the beds are like bricksHeres the BUT for me. Everything was strongly scented, sheets, garbage bags, plug ins, etc. I have allegies to scents and am extra carful taking extra meds when I travel. But my husband whos fine with scents was getting swollen eyes and migraines from how strong it was. We left a day early with no refund. If scents don't bother you go, but if you are sensitive as many are this is not the place for you. I strongly feel someone renting to many people should use unscented when possible.
The description of the property was pretty spot on. Like others have said, please use directions provided by the owner, as Google maps will not get you close. The cabin was very clean and there were plenty of linens and dishes provided. Cabin is right on the wine trail, so we went to like 3 or 4 a day until we hit them all. Most of the wineries are only open Fri-Sun, so keep that in mind. Firepit and hot tob were great, as was the main shower. For the firepit, be advised firewood is not provided, and firewood is outrageously priced in Murphysboro. Get wood in Marion at Menards or Home Depot prior to check in. Most of the week was very relaxing and quiet, but not sure how secluded the area is, and I sent a message to the owner about that. however, the property is beautiful, and is great for a nice getaway, centrally located to many things to do (hiking, wineries, etc). I recommend.
Hot tub was nice and easy to work. House had everything you would need for your stay. Only complaint the bed downstairs is firm and noisy and mattress upstairs is pretty firm. Great place to go for a walk with no traffic.
Wonderful stay here. This is our second stay at this cabin and we love it! We had a question about the hot tub and the owner was very quick to respond. We are excited to book this cabin again!
