About this property

Sunset House: Prime Sound front location with boat dock. Amazing sunsets!

Located in Hatteras Village, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage, surrounded by Southern Live Oaks, features a sound front deck with beautiful views of Slash Creek/Sandy Bay/Pamlico Sound and fantastic sunsets. Part of the deck is covered to allow enjoyment of the view while keeping cool in the shade.

The 25' long dock is prepared to dock a boat, has a ramp for easy kayak/paddleboard access, and is equipped with a fish cutting table/washdown hose.

The interior of the cottage has an open living, dining, and kitchen floor plan with 2 large glass sliders providing incredible views of the sound. Smart TV is also in this space. Two queen bedrooms, one with full size bathroom ensuite. The 2nd queen bedroom has access to a full size bathroom in the hallway.

Downstairs, the convenient outdoor shower is perfect to rinse away the sand. The beach is a quick walk through the marina, and is accessible through the Hatteras Estates Property Owners Association path, located across from the Hatteras Civic Center.

Access to the cottage is through the sliding glass door on the deck.
