Whether you’re gathering in the cozy living area or preparing meals in the kitchen, this wonderful home provides a perfect base. Enjoy all that Sarasota has to offer when you stay at our place. *****************Please note that this property includes two additional separate units located on the opposite sides in the back of the home. The main house is the unit being advertised. It features three rooms—two located near the bathroom and one near the kitchen. The third room has its own private entrance but will only be accessible from main door for security . You will have full access to your entire unit within the main house, and a designated parking space will be provided for you.

The space is completely private. One of the other units is occupied by the landlord, and the second unit is also rented separately through listing platforms there’s one cleaner/maintenance team local on site throughout the day .

Microwave very dirty inside also oven very dirty. Killed 5 roaches very big ones. Worn destroyed patio furniture outside. Table outside we had to clean just so we could put our drinks on table. 4 very thin small bath towels to use. Looks like this house needs a lot of repairs. Looks like they have workers working on it but they should be doing it when there are no renters. Didnt care for the bats outside but im an early riser and bats were still flying around. Toilet seat needs to be fixed everytime you sit down it sounds like its going to break. Turning shower on and off is a chore you just keep spinning it. I redid the mirror in bathroom it was very cloudy. I think the cleaning lady could do better job of cleaning. The handle on slider going to back yard was so black with years if built on dirt i did scrub it as well as i could. Would i stay again no.

Check in was easy. Simple email communication. When we pulled in e we noticed several pieces of the soffit were missing and a pillar holding up the overhang was severely askew. Inside, at first glance, the space was clean, however there was an odor hanging in the air, strongest in the kitchen. This was due to black water standing in the garbage disposal. The sink drain was blocked off by a rag and some paper towels. The host did say she was having some one come take care of the plumbing. Adding to the smell was trash in the can that was under the extra bags. Inside the space there were no dressers or places for out things. The kitchen was devoid of silverware, cups, and other kitchen items needed for a planned weeks stay. The room of the kitchen (which obviously used to be the laundry room) still had the laundry vent hole through the wall. In addition, and the room we found a lighter and aluminum foil which was used to cook a drug of some sort. The bathroom, shower handles, though they turned on the water, spun continuously, and refound difficult to turn off. The final straw were the cockroaches that came out at night. The manager tried passing them off as Palmetto bugs. However, Palmetto bug is another name for the Florida cockroach.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Honestly, you should stop here and not rent this place. If you want details about what you could be getting yourself into, read below.The property was advertised as a 3-bedroom private rental, which is why we booked it. However, shortly after arriving we discovered a locked interior door leading to another section of the house. That door also had its own outside entrance, and a car was parked directly outside of it the entire time. It was clear someone was occupying that section of the home. Because of this, what was advertised as a 3-bedroom rental was effectively only a 2-bedroom, since the third room appeared to be used by someone else.Within the first hour we were there, the host messaged us telling us not to use the right sink, which was extremely unsettling and made it feel like someone was monitoring what we were doing inside the property. Combined with the locked door and vehicle outside, this created serious privacy and safety concerns.We left immediately and booked a hotel for two nights at a cost of about 800 just to feel safe.Other issues included being forced to park in the grass because the driveway is reserved for the person living there, and what appears to be a bat infestation in the roof, which you can hear moving around along with a very strong odor.After raising these issues, the host denied everything and kept the payment. The listing also appears to have been updated afterward. I also contacted Vrbo
