Indian Canyons Oasis – Iconic Palm Springs Living with Breathtaking Views
This is a truly special Palm Springs home. Architecturally distinctive and thoughtfully designed, it is an unusual and beautiful property that immediately stands apart. Recently renovated to the highest standards, the house combines colorful interiors with a deeply relaxing atmosphere, creating a space that feels both refined and welcoming.
The home offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms and sits directly on the Indian Canyons Golf Course, North Course. From nearly every angle, you enjoy sweeping 180 degree views across the fairways and out toward the valley beyond. The setting is open, dramatic, and unmistakably Palm Springs.
The interior features a large, fully equipped kitchen that is truly a chef’s playground. Designed for both serious cooking and casual entertaining, it offers generous space, high quality appliances, and everything needed to prepare anything from a simple breakfast to a full dinner party.
South Palm Springs, and Indian Canyons in particular, is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in the city. Known for its iconic mid century architecture, quiet streets, and true residential feel, it offers a rare sense of calm and space. There are no overhead power lines, the streets are serene, and thanks to the southern location, the area experiences far less wind than North Palm Springs, making outdoor living especially enjoyable year round.
The outdoor spaces are expansive and designed for both relaxation and entertaining. The large, deep pool is a standout feature, generously sized in a way that is increasingly rare today. The pool is heated, allowing for year round enjoyment. Surrounding the pool, you will find a beautiful outdoor bar, a dedicated dining area, a large barbecue, and multiple lounging and entertaining zones with deck chairs and comfortable seating. A fire pit adds warmth and ambiance in the evenings, making the space just as inviting after sunset.
For added comfort, the home also includes a once weekly professional cleaning service, ensuring the space remains fresh and well maintained throughout your visit.
Whether you are floating in the pool with views of the golf course, enjoying dinner outdoors as the light shifts across the valley, or simply taking in the quiet beauty of the neighborhood, this home offers a classic Palm Springs experience in one of the city’s most desirable locations.

About the host
Hosted by Dan
We are an Australian–Italian couple who have called California home for the past 15 years. Over time, we completely fell in love with the architectural beauty, light, and lifestyle of this remarkable city.
We enjoy thoughtful design, well-made spaces, good food, and the simple pleasure of feeling comfortable and at home wherever we travel. Hosting allows us to share the kind of place we ourselves look for when we are guests: welcoming, carefully curated, and easy to enjoy.
We take pride in creating a space that feels relaxed yet intentional, and we hope our home allows you to experience the city in a way that feels authentic, comfortable, and memorable.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it captures everything we love about Palm Springs. It is one of the most architecturally interesting areas of the city, with clean sightlines, no overhead power lines, and a strong sense of design and openness. Being in South Palm Springs also means calmer weather, as the area is largely protected from the wind.
What we enjoy most is the quiet, residential feel. It feels peaceful and unpretentious, a true neighborhood rather than a resort zone, yet it is remarkably convenient. Downtown Palm Springs is just a ten-minute drive away, and we are only minutes from excellent grocery stores, wonderful restaurants, and some of the city’s best bars.
For us, it is the ideal balance: relaxed and residential, but close to everything that makes Palm Springs such a fun and vibrant place to be.
What makes this property unique
The house was built in the mid-1960s and, while it is not a traditional mid-century modern home, it is architecturally distinctive and truly one of a kind.
One of the property’s most special features is its setting. The house overlooks the golf course and enjoys sweeping 180-degree views across the valley and toward the surrounding mountains. The outdoor areas are expansive and south-facing, offering sun throughout the day and a wonderful sense of openness.
It is a home that feels wonderfully serene and visually connected to the landscape that makes Palm Springs so unique.
