Great Property, Spotlessly Clean, Friendly Owner

Via Jacques will be your Palm Springs home away from home. Mid century indoor/outdoor living design by Meiselman, thoughtfully updated in 2013 with a nod to the mid-century/Palm Springs modern aesthetic. Via Jacques boasts a large swimming pool with built-in spa plus unequaled views of Mount San Jacinto. Full poolside bar and lots of places to lounge in the large back garden. All of life's necessities like wireless internet, full laundry facilities, barbecue, home security system and garage with Tesla charger.
3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, living room sofabed to accommodate an extra guest or two. Please note I'm only allowed a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children under age 12.
Enjoy cool desert nights by the indoor fireglass fireplace or outdoor fire pit. Private, fully fenced back yard. Covered patio. Mature fruit trees and lots of palm trees.

Amazing Palm Springs House

This was a perfect backyard oasis - pool and hot tub were exactly what we were looking for! The house was perfect for our family of 4 for a relaxing and fun weekend in Palm Springs. The location is also fantastic we were less than a 5 minute drive to every restaurant and store we wanted to go to. The house had absolutely everything we needed to have several dinners at home. The views from the backyard are stunning! Lots of spaces to lounge outside and take in the beauty!

Lovely spot

Via Jacques combines a convenient location with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen, but the highlight is really the backyard. Bonus!

The property was perfection.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in your Palm Springs home. We loved the way the home is situated. You walk right in to the pool area. Having that bar area and extra fridge outdoors was a surprise and bonus. The house was so clean and neat. No detail was missed. I appreciated having all of the things stocked that I needed in the kitchen to feel like I was at home. The house was decorated very cute. I think the photos don't do it justice. It has a very nice big backyard as well as the side yard with hammocks that's we all enjoyed. I can't wait to come back. Many thanks for a great weekend.

All in all, we were quite pleased with the property, especially the pool and outside areas.

We were thrilled with the pool size and outdoor areas, which were spacious and extremely comfortable. The property was clean and well maintained, except for the guest shower whose drain was clogged. The living room/dining room/ kitchen areas were smaller than anticipated and a bit disappointing. However, the bedrooms and bathrooms were relatively spacious and comfortable. The only downsides there were the lack of facial tissues and the second tv being in one of the guest bedrooms rather than the master bedroom. The kitchen was very well equipped, the a/c worked perfectly and the location and privacy of the property were great. We are golfers and the location of the property was perfect for our purposes. in sum, we found the property to be attractive and enjoyed our stay very much. Susan, the owner, with whom we communicated principally by email, was a pleasure to deal with.

Wonderful property except.........

This is a wonderful property, spacious and well laid out. The full size pool makes it exceptional. We really enjoyed ourselves and were only mildly disappointed in our second stay at this property by what appeared to be some cost cutting efforts by the proprietor. These related to the cable and internet service. First, there are two tvs but only one worked as the other, located in the guest bedroom, did not have cable service. Second, on the morning of our departure, cable and internet service went out at 9 am even though check out was at noon. Nevertheless, our stay was very enjoyable and other than the items described above, our host was easy to deal with.

Via Jacques - My new home away from home in Palm Springs.

The pictures only begin to tell the story of this home. In person it exceeded my expectations which were already high. It is ideally located in a quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. The home is just the right size with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was well equipped with everything we could possibly need or want. It was spotless and quite stylish. The attention to detail by the owner with easy to follow instructions which are not only in a binder, but throughout the house, really impressed. Including the TV. Yes, step by step to get the TV, cable and surround sound going. A simple sticky note by the remote...and bam! The home is very private and thus we lounged by the pool the entire time we were there. It was our own private resort. The pool was heated perfectly and well maintained by a very cool and helpful (for restaurant recommendations) pool man. The owner of the home communicated clearly and readily throughout the Homeaway experience. You will never get the personalized attention I was given by the owner from any hotel or resort anywhere. I highly recommend this property. I will never stay at a hotel again while in Palm Springs. Via Jacques is my new home away from home. 5 Stars Plus Plus.

Perfect home and location for rest and relaxation. The pool and home are phenomenol. The host has provided everything you will need for your stay. Location is right around the corner from Indian Canyon and Palm Canyon Drives. Fantastic 10 day stay!

Fabulous stay!

The house was exactly as pictured, and the yard was amazing. Great location for doing things in town or heading out for a day trip. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Marvelous Mid Century Mod

Everything You Need!!!

The property comes as advertised. The home is well appointed with everything you need for a memorable vacation in Palm Springs. The check in process was easy and Susan was able to accommodate our family with an early check in which was greatly appreciated. The home was clean, the kitchen was stocked with everything you need, towels and pool floaties were available, no need to bring your own. The pool side bar was a nice touch and served as a great place to keep the drinks cold and mix up a margarita for happy hour. The pool, spa, fireplace, hammock lounge are the show stoppers here...the outdoor living space is amazing. We enjoyed spending mornings, afternoons and evenings in the yard. Grocery stores (Albertsons, Stater Bros), Starbucks, a few restaurants are within walking distance and if you have some time, the walk to downtown will take you about 30-40 mins. Great location in a quite and safe neighborhood! I would recommend this space for anyone looking to get away with their family for a few days or weeks!

This property is our go to when in Palm Springs. Susie is excellent to communicate with and the house is clean, and well equipped. The outside is private, and the pool and hot tub are wonderful. Raquet Club Estates is a quiet neighborhood. This house provides the perfect place to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustlenof life.

After a happy and thriving experience with our first vacation rental in Palm Springs, Via Miraleste, my husband and I purchased Via Jacques in April 2013 and have gone through major renovations to bring our guests a taste of Palm Springs mid-century living with all of the amenities of today.
I love mid century design and love being a host to my guests.
My family and I live in Orange County, California, about 1 1/2 hours from Via Jacques (in another mid-century property!) and spend a good deal of time in Palm Springs tending to our properties.

Why they chose this property

I purchased Via Jacques in April 2013 after looking at dozens of homes in Palm Springs. Via Jacques has wonderful light, beautiful views of the mountains, is very private and peaceful and just has a good all-around 'feel'. I loved that the entire pool, fire pit and spa could be viewed from the living room and dining area--really an indoor/outdoor experience.

What makes this property unique

Via Jacques boasts not only a large pool and built-in spa, but a proper fireplace indoors and an outdoor firepit with lots of seating around it. I also loved that Via Jacques fulfilled my 'must have' of an unobstructed view of the mountains. The deal clincher was the poolside bar with full size fridge, large sink, and plenty of storage and counterspace to blend favorite frosty drinks. Now you can blend away and then fill your friends' glasses just steps from the pool!
