We enjoyed our stay in this 2 bedroom condo with a well-supplied kitchen. Beds were comfortable, cooling fans worked well when needed. While this is 2-bedroom apartment, it's better suited to a family since the only shower is in the master bedroom. The other bathroom was converted to a laundry (which we appreciated). With windows open the traffic from Genesee Ave can be noisy but the apartment was otherwise quiet. The location near Vons is very convenient.
Mark's condo was very clean and looked perfect when we arrived. There was plenty of space for the 2 of us. The condo was centrally located for our needs.Bed was comfortable with great soft pillows. It is located next to a busy road so unable to keep windows in the master bedroom open at night. There were plenty of fans around the condo to help keep street noise covered while sleeping.

Pick a different place to stay. Location: When we arrived, it took us a few minutes to actually figure out where to go. By "Second Floor", they mean two flights up. But the actual location of the condo was good and bad. Easy proximity to the freeway, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE ON GENESSEE. It was so loud. We had to actually purchase earplugs because it was that loud. Parking was bad. Their "guest spots" were always full with other people and they don't give garage access, so our extra cars were parked across the busy road on a side street. Definitely not a "Prime UTC Condo" but a condo that's a 7 minute drive away.Heat Wave: There was a heat wave in San Diego. They had fans. One of the rooms is so stuffy that it did not help. They need a portable air conditioning unit.Cleanliness: There was so much hair everywhere. In the sheets, on the floors, attached to towels. I had to clean the condo before we were comfortable. Kitchen: They give you EVOO, Salt, and pepper. If you need anything else, buy it. They need a spice rack or something. Also, no sheet pans. Their short term rental permit was not listed anywhere, so I don't believe they have one. Our family has rentals in San Diego, so this experience was very disappointing compared to what we provide. San Diego has better!

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, but we would like to clarify several points for future guests.
Before your arrival, we sent detailed check-in instructions with the exact location of the condo, including how to find the unit. Our listing also clearly states that the condo is located on the second floor, which requires going up two flights of stairs.
Regarding the location, Genesee Avenue is a city street, not a freeway. While traffic noise can vary depending on the time of day and individual sensitivity, it is not accurate to describe it as being directly on a freeway. Many of our guests have enjoyed comfortable stays at this property.
As for parking, our listing clearly states that one reserved parking space is included. We do not advertise additional parking or garage access for extra vehicles, so guests with more than one car should plan accordingly.
Regarding air conditioning, our listing clearly indicates that the property does not have central AC. This information is available before booking so guests can make an informed decision. We provide fans for guests' comfort.
We take cleanliness very seriously. Had you contacted us during your stay about any cleanliness concerns, we would have addressed them immediately. This is the first time we have received such feedback.
The kitchen is stocked with complimentary essentials, including olive oil, salt, pepper, and other basic items. We also provide a sheet pan, which is stored with the other baking cookware.
Finally, regarding our short-term rental permit, all short-term rentals operating on major booking platforms in the City of San Diego must have a valid permit. Our property is fully licensed and compliant with all applicable local regulations.
We always strive to provide an accurate listing and excellent hospitality. While we understand that not every property is the right fit for every guest, we believe it is important that reviews fairly reflect what is clearly disclosed before booking. We wish you and your family all the best.

The posting for this rental indicated it was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and you need to read the description to see that the second bathroom is no where near what you would expect. There is a toilet and the smallest sink you have ever seen in the room with oversized washer and dryer units. Not only is the sink small, but because of the placement of the shelf above the sink, you can't even use the sink to brush your teeth as there is no room for your head. A stackable washer/dryer would have made more sense in this small space. Also, the posting says it is on the second floor, when it is actually on the third floor, since there is a full story "ground floor" and it is 29 steps up to the unit. Check in was a bit confusing. While the street address was given, we were not given the unit number. Apparently we needed to know that the parking spot number, which was around the corner and up a hill from the unit, was the same as the unit number. Thankfully, the representative answered our call immediately. The unit was clean, and living space was large, but as stated by others, it is on a busy street so there is a lot of traffic noise. The location worked for us and thankfully the other adult couple traveling with us were willing to brush their teeth in the kitchen sink and take turns using our shower.
