No Smoking or Vaping Policy – Interior & Exterior This is a 100% smoke-free and vape-free property—including both the interior of the home and all exterior areas such as decks, patios, and the dock. This policy applies to all forms of smoking and vaping, including tobacco, marijuana, and e-cigarettes. Violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of your reservation with no refund. Guests who choose to ignore this rule will be required to leave the property immediately upon discovery.
Quiet Hours Policy: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM This property observes quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM out of respect for our neighbors and the peaceful lakefront setting. Please help us be good community members by keeping noise to a minimum during these hours, including music, outdoor gatherings, and loud conversations. Violations of this policy will be handled as follows: First offense: You will receive one verbal warning via phone call or message. Continued noise after the warning will result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund. If a member of our team or local authorities is required to visit the property due to unanswered or unacknowledged contact attempts, a $200 noise complaint fee will be charged to your account. This policy is strictly enforced to protect the quality of the guest experience and maintain respectful relationships with our community.
No Parties or Unregistered Guests Policy This property has a strict no party and no unregistered guest policy. Gatherings, events, or additional guests beyond those listed on the reservation are not permitted under any circumstances. Violation of this policy will result in the immediate termination of your stay without refund, and all guests will be required to vacate the property immediately. In addition: The reservation holder will be held financially responsible for all interior and exterior damages, including but not limited to furniture, flooring, walls, landscaping, and property contents. A cleaning and damage fee will be assessed based on the severity of the incident. All reviews will be disqualified and reported for non-compliance with house rules. We take the integrity of our home and neighborhood seriously. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, peaceful environment for everyone.
Liability Waiver & Guest Responsibility Policy By booking and staying at this property, all guests agree to use the home and its amenities at their own risk. The homeowner and Lakecation Vacations (the management company) are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from the improper or unsupervised use of the following amenities: Swimming, fishing, or kayaking in the lake Use of the dock, boat slips, or boat lift Use of the diving board Use of the firepit or outdoor grill Guests assume all responsibility and liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to themselves, others, and personal property while using any of the above amenities. Children must be supervised at all times around the water, dock, firepit, and any recreational equipment. Furthermore, guests will be held financially responsible for any damage caused to these features or any other part of the property due to misuse, negligence, or violation of house rules. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that you and your guests have read, understood, and agreed to this policy and release the property owner and management company from all liability related to use of these amenities.
Early Check-In Policy We understand that sometimes you want to start your vacation a little sooner! While we do our best to accommodate early check-ins, they are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance. Guests may contact us at 10:00 AM on the day of arrival to check if early check-in is possible. If available, the following conditions apply: An early check-in fee of $25 per hour will be charged The fee must be paid in full prior to check-in Early entry will not be granted without confirmation and payment Please note: If early check-in is important to your travel plans, we recommend booking your stay beginning the day before your intended arrival to ensure the home is reserved and ready for your early access. We appreciate your understanding as we work to prepare the home for your arrival with the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Late Checkout Policy Checkout time is 10:00 AM sharp on the day of departure. If you would like to request a late checkout, please submit your request no later than 8AM morning of your departure. All requests are subject to availability and approval and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If approved, a late checkout fee of $25 per hour will apply and must be paid in advance. Important: Guests who fail to vacate the property by 10:00 AM without prior approval will be charged $25 per hour until the property is fully vacated, as this directly impacts our cleaning and guest turnover schedule. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us provide every guest with a smooth, timely check-in experience.
PET POLICY:
-Pets must be potty trained, under 25 pounds, and current on all vaccinations.
-Pets cannot be left unattended in the home unless secured in a kennel.
-If pets are left unattended in the home outside of a kennel, it may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without refund.
-Pets must be leashed at all times when outside in the community.
-No excessive barking or noise is allowed.
-Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste on the exterior of the property.
-Pet owners are responsible for any additional cleaning fees or damages caused by pet hair, accidents on floors or furniture, or any other damage.
-A daily pet fee of $35 per pet applies.
Bringing a pet without prior approval will result in a $500 unauthorized pet fee being charged to the reservation. Thank you for helping us keep the home safe, clean, and comfortable for all guests!
