Mountain Glory has been a dream of ours since we first discovered this special place in 2005. We were camping nearby with our almost-two-year-old son, back when Lake Cushman Resort still had its campgrounds. The breathtaking beauty of the area captured our hearts, and we knew we wanted to be part of it.
A year later, we purchased the property — vacant land, nothing but dirt and a big dream attached. Construction didn’t begin as quickly as we hoped. It wasn’t until 2017, after overcoming numerous obstacles, that we finally started building our home. We faced challenges along the way, including parting ways with our contractor early in the process and taking the reins ourselves to bring our vision to life. Many hands have touched this property, and every effort was worth it.
We named our home “Mountain Glory” in honor of the stunning Olympic Mountains that frame Lake Cushman with their majestic beauty. This place is a true blessing made with blood sweat and tears, a labor of love that took years of dedication, hard work, sacrifice and determination. Every corner of this home reflects the effort, care and passion that went into creating a place where families and friends can make memories for years to come. We are grateful to be surrounded by such inspiring nature. From the very beginning, we wanted to give thanks to God for the beauty that surrounds us — and that gratitude is woven into the heart of Mountain Glory.

Our home is designed for comfort and fun, with heated floors, air-conditioning in master bedroom, full blinds to keep cooler in the summer, large overhead fan in main living room, a hot tub, and two decks-one of which is covered for relaxing in weather and the main deck for star gazing at night, and let's not forget to mention the outdoor covered patio, where you will find the option of a Weber propane BBQ or Blackstone propane grill. For meal times, the kitchen is fully stocked with every tool and appliance you might need for cooking and baking, whether it's a casual family breakfast, a homemade pizza night, or a full holiday feast.
Entertainment options include a pool table, outdoor foosball, non-official pickleball court, ladder ball, corn hole and a variety of indoor games, puzzles, and multiple dining spaces for meals or gatherings. Cozy up to two indoor propane fireplaces, or gather outdoors around the "smokeless Breeo" fire pit- also a propane option-perfect for starry nights, s'mores or a romantic evening.
