We were visiting family in town, and this was the perfect home base. Stylish and comfortable accommodations in a walkable hip neighborhood.

Great West Seattle location! Walkable neighborhood, easy transit access, plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Place is small but just right for 2-4 adults or a small family of four such as ours, as long as you don’t mind sharing a small bathroom. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen. Plenty of street parking to be found and transit stop is nearby if you prefer. Catch the 733 waterfront shuttle (free) to catch the King County water taxi for a quick trip to Seattle and Pike Place. Would stay again.

The overall house was very cute. The beds were firm but no hard. Decorating was very nice. Lots of bathroom towels. The ac was a treat. Some things missing were oven hot pads, paper towels, kitchen towels and stuff to wrap up leftovers. We found dirty towels in the washing machine. We went ahead and washed them before leaving. The bathroom was a little small. Parking was on the street. We were able to find parking everyday that we came home. Nice location. Near lots of places to eat and shop for groceries.

This property is accurately described in the listing. We opted for the apartment due to its location, and it worked well for us. The space was clean, compact, and well-appointed for basic hygiene and meal preparation. The linens are quality and the beds are nice and soft. The shower is great! The neighbors we met were all friendly. The space is a daylight basement in a warren of dense urban housing, so the windows serve as limited light sources with views of adjacent buildings and fences. Typical of dense urban residential, parking is a challenge (though we always found a spot within a block of the apartment). Once parked near the property (if lucky), there is an uneven path of concrete pavers of about 75 ft and a short concrete stair down to the entrance gate. This combination of factors will work best for those who are sure-footed, travel lightly, and needn't park a car. This Seattle neighborhood feels safe and exciting, brimming with a lot of young adult energy, cool businesses, new construction and ongoing gentrification. The waterfront around Alki Beach and Constellation Park is delightful on a sunny day with lots of walkers, joggers, bicyclists, roller skaters, and people just sitting and soaking up the scene.

The location was great for our purpose. There is a moldy smell in the bathroom, we had to leave the fan on continuesly and the door closed.. I would suggest the host replace shower curtain, provide tissue and paper towels or kitchen towels.
