Ideally located just south of I-85 and centrally positioned on the lake, the property makes getting here easy while keeping you away from the crowds. There’s ample space for multiple trailers, plus electric charging making it an excellent choice for anglers, boating enthusiasts, and fishing tournament stays. A public boat ramp is just minutes away for quick and easy access to open water.

Inside, the 550-square-foot bedroom area is designed to comfortably accommodate larger groups. Sleeping arrangements include a king bed, queen bed, double bed, a queen sleeper sectional, and a queen conversion chair plenty of room for family, friends, or your tournament crew. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, along with both a Keurig and traditional drip coffee maker to start your mornings right.

Step outside and the experience truly shines. Relax on the large patio with an outdoor TV, gather around the fire pit under the stars, rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day on the lake, or launch one of the provided kayaks from the sandy beach area. And of course, your covered dock is ready and waiting for your boat.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors

There is no dishwasher therefore dishes, utensils, pots and pans must be cleaned by occupant.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No parties permitted. Quiet hours from 10PM until 8AM.

The little cottage style house was very well appointed. Probably the best we've had in any short term rental. Beth has literally everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, and well, if you forget something, she's got that covered too! Bonus points for the fact that it's pet friendly but reads more like luxury accommodations. We brought a portable kennel with us set it up in the garage because it's very cool in there and secured our dog anytime. We were not at home. Did I mention that she also has a kitchen herb garden out front? Yep! Fresh parsley and basil abound! Step outside your back door onto the patio and you're just moments away from the waters edge. It's Westword facing so you get to enjoy beautiful sunsets. And there's plenty of room from one of their three dogs to park your boat, launcher, kayak, and fish in the shade if you so desire. Georgia and South Carolina share a reciprocal fishing license so as long as you have a freshwater fishing license in one of those states you're good to go! It's also about 30 minutes away from Clemson and Anderson so it's a perfect meeting spot for parent, weekends, campus tours and alike.Lake Hartwell is home to bass fishing tournaments, jet skiing , kayaking, swimming and basically any other outdoor on the water activity you can think of. Lake Hartwell is in the top 10 list of cleanest lakes in South Carolina. So if you're looking for a relaxing getaway I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

We built both structures ourselves and with great attention to detail. We take great pride in being able to share our property with you and we know you will enjoy your stay.

Why they chose this property

We fortunately stumbled upon this area during covid and built the home ourselves along with a little help from some friends. Our property is relatively flat, yet the water is deep, the cove is quiet, the location on the lake is central, the sunsets are beautiful, the public boat ramps are close, the water is calm, the neighborhood is safe and friendly, and it’s just perfect!

What makes this property unique

It’s just perfect. Private, quiet, accessible, good water, relaxing. You just have to experience it.
