Our 70-square-meter holiday home, “Käptn’ Poldi,” in Ditzumerhammrich—which we’ve lovingly renovated over many years—is located just 4.1 km from the Dollart Bay, making it an ideal spot for cyclists and those seeking relaxation. This cosy, family- and dog-friendly old fisherman’s cottage, with 2 bedrooms and 1 guest bed spread over 2 levels, can accommodate up to 4 (5) people. An approximately 600-square-meter fenced-in property with a garden invites you to linger and relax.

Our cosy, family- and dog-friendly old fisherman’s cottage is located in Ditzumer-Hammrich. With 70 square metres of living space spread over two levels, it can accommodate up to 4 (5) people. Your dogs (max. 2) are very welcome here! The holiday home has been lovingly restored over many years and is furnished with an eye for detail. Our holiday home, Käpt’n Poldi, is a smoke-free property.
The ground floor features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a shower, 1 toilet, the kitchen, and the living-dining area.
The combined living/dining room is furnished with a dining table set, a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, books, and various board games. From the living room, you have direct access to an adjoining, gorgeous, large, fully fenced-in garden. (Wooden fence, 120 m high) Here, your children or even your dogs can romp around carefree while you relax on the patio. You’re also welcome to use the grill here.
An internet connection is simply indispensable these days, so we’ve equipped our house with Wi-Fi.
For guests who prefer to cook for themselves while on holiday, the new country-style kitchen features an oven, cookware, a refrigerator, a freezer, a kettle, an egg cooker, a toaster, a small fondue set, as well as a coffee maker, a Senseo coffee machine, and a dishwasher. Plates, glasses, cups, and silverware are also provided in ample quantities.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140 cm wide), nightstands, a chest of drawers, and a closet. From the bedroom window, you’ll have a magnificent, unobstructed view of the surrounding meadows and fields and can enjoy sunrises right from your bed.
In the bathroom, you’ll find a washing machine and a drying rack. The shower is walk-in. Of course, a hair dryer is also provided. The toilet is located separately in an additional room.
​The attic studio features 1 double bed (1.40 metres wide) plus 1 single bed and an additional toilet.
Please bring your own towels and bed linens. Since not every household has fitted sheets in our bed size as standard, our housekeeper always puts on clean fitted sheets in advance.
You can park your car right in front of the house in the parking space

Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and check-out from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
