The Space:

Welcome to Cape San Blas, a truly secluded corner of Florida, where you'll find few crowds and lots of peace and quiet. And, with a great location just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and plenty of room to spread out both outside and in, this dog- and family-friendly three bedroom house is the perfect place to call home base during your trip. With a boardwalk at the end of the street leading to the beach and access to a community pool, no one will blame you if you don’t venture far. If you do want to explore, Cape San Blas offers 15 miles of truly pristine beaches, fishing, kayaking, and boating opportunities, and lots of locally owned restaurants, and the charming fishing community of Apalachicola is just 20 miles to the east.



At the home itself, your outdoor space includes a large deck and an enclosed sunroom, perfect perches for a good book and a glass of wine. Inside, high ceilings, light colors, nautical decor, and lots of natural light enhance the beach-vacation vibe. The large, open layout combines the full kitchen, living room, and dining area, making it ideal for entertaining or just gathering with your group. The well-equipped kitchen offers a full suite of appliances and plenty of counter space, including a standalone kitchen island, and everyone can dine together at the adjacent table or barstools.



After a day at the beach, use the outdoor shower downstairs to rinse off the sand, and then relax together in the central AC. Evening entertainment options at home include free WiFi, cable, and three streaming-capable TVs, but the best way to pass the night is back outside on your deck, admiring the clear night sky over the Cape.

We had an amazing stay at this house! The location was perfect—just a short walk to both the beach and the pool, which made it so easy for our family to enjoy every moment. Great location, very nice place, but property could use some upkeep

The overall property is great, the house is great, the neighborhood was safe and friendly, a very easy walk to a more or less private beach. Only thing that could be an easy improvement would be the back "yard" area needs a fair bit of cleaning up as it was overgrown.

Quiet street on South Beach at Cape San Blas. 4th house from the cul-de-sac and the boardwalk to the Gulf. House was perfect for us. Be sure to bring your own beach chairs and beach towels as there none available for renters tho use.

Lake Hosuse

The property has major flooding issues. There is water underneath the entire ground area, up to 2 feet deep under the house over the drive. I would never suggest renting this property again and one of the HOA members said they would like to see the owner do something about the situation. We were unaware of this situation when we rented the property.
