A great stay!

We had a really great stay! The house is very nice and even better than the pictures show and the view is the best! The only thing we missed were softer beds and less wasps. Overall, we really recommend this house and place!

Villa Riviera

Lovely villa with plenty of rooms for different family groups. Swimming pool was perfect. Another toilet and bathroom would have been helpful. In a remote very hilly area and access quite difficult. No local shops within walking distance.

Nightmare at Bordighera 🥵🥵🥵

We had a horrible experience. This property is not meant for let outs. What is said on the site is not the actual reality. Having rented properties globally, this was the first time that we encountered such a petty & non transparent landlord who came up with the most bizarre of stories not to return our 1 day’s credit (we had informed them a month prior that we wanted to leave after 4 days and not 5 days). Instead of giving us our money back, they accused us of defacing the ceiling and stealing the towels… We strongly advise you not to stay in this property… 1. No check in protocol, handover or run through… everything left for the guests to figure out 2. Google pin incorrect and we spent more than an hour finding the property. No signages 3. Beach is not a walking distance but a 10 mins drive 4. Very steep slope to the property not indicated in the site. Impossible for elderly and kids to walk 5. Air cons not working - 2 out of 5 days we were without the Aircon. The remotes and batteries also not working 6. Toilet design very poor as water floods the bathroom each time you take a shower - get ready to spend half the time mopping the toilet water 7. None of the toilet doors have locks so there is no privacy - the only way to get privacy is to station someone outside each toilet 8. Basic maintenance not looked into - from the kettle being corroded beyond use to the dishwasher rack broken to water taking 30mins to refill in one of the toilets, to the bedroom lighting defective and dim 9. Several windows and doors don’t have holders/broken so be prepared for constant banging if you leave the doors and windows open 10. Single beds in the basement are not beds but couches opened out - impossible to get a good nights sleep 11. No instructions on waste disposal. We segregated the waste in 3 different bags (plastic which was cleaned and then put, paper and wet waste) and placed the 3 bags neatly in the kitchen corner. Pizza boxes stacked neatly. But the landlord’s contention is that as a guest it was our duty to reach out to them to find out where to dispose the waste!!! 12. Our reservation was for 11 members and stated 3 bathrooms but when we entered the property, only 2 bathrooms were opened. Only on calling the landlord and insisting that we wanted the 3rd bathroom, we were told on how to open the toilet. Landlords initial response on calling was that can you not manage with 2 toilets between 11 of you? Please book at own risk!

We have never had such liars and cheeky guests who also damage and steal someone else's property and not to be able to find the house. We have also never gotten the house back so dirty and left everything on and open when they leaving (like the air conditioning). Therefore BEWARE of these liars, slanderers and destroyers of someone else's property. It saves further words, because you only get sad and angry how peeople could be.

Alles im allem waren wir vom Haus und der Ausstattung nicht überzeugt. Ein paar negative Punkte, die uns sehr in Erinnerung geblieben sind, wären:- Betten hatten teils Milbenbefall- Kaffeemaschine hat im Inneren geschimmelt- Abzugshaube voll mit Fett und ekelhaft- Geschirr war vieles dreckig und musste vor Benutzung gereinigt werden- keine Putzmaterialien wie z.B. Wischer vorhanden. Hatten nur einen kleinen Handstaubsauger und mussten den Rest kaufen, damit wir mal sauber machen konnten- Spielecke mehrheitlich defekt und gefährlich für die KinderDie Villa machte einen renovierungsbedürftigen Eindruck und ist zur Zeit, den Preis der gefordert wird, nicht wert.Vieles ist alt und abgenutzt.Desweiteren ist die Zimmeraufteilung sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig, wenn man mit mehr als 6 Personen dort wohnen möchte bzw. mehr als 3 Zimmer benötigt. Wir haben schon viele Ferienhäuser gesehen und die Villa Riviera ist mit Abstand das Schlusslicht und wir würden dort niemals mehr wohnen wollen.Pluspunkte:- Aussicht- Poolanlage

Hallo Karin, danke für die Rückmeldung, welche wir aber gerne direkt als Kommunikation gewünscht hätten, um unmittelbar helfen zu können. Aber außer, dass ihr gefragt habt, wo man etwas hinbestellen kann, haben wir von euch während der gesamten Mietzeit nichts gehört, auch nicht nach Rückfrage,ob alles in Ordnung war und ihr gut nach Hause kamt. Zum Thema Milbenbefall können wir dies klar ausschließen, wenn dann sind es Stechmücken nahe dem Brunnen, die sich bei Licht und offenen Türen/Fenster gerne ins Haus verirren. Bezüglich Sauberkeit werden wir mit dem neuen Putzteam sprechen,das ist für uns neu und hatten wir so nie. Natürlich kann nicht jeder Teller kontrolliert werden, aber wir haben einen Anspruch. Hättet ihr euch gemeldet, hätte wir euch sagen können,in welcher Kammer, Staubsauger Putzsachen aufbewahrt sind. Eine Spielelcke haben wir nicht,nur Spielsachen in einer Box sowie eine Schaukel. Die Villa ist für 4-6 Erwachsene und 2-5 Kinder ausgelegt und bietet mit den jeweiligen eigenen Etagen eine gute Abtrennung für 2 Familien. Das nun nach einer langen Sommersaison ggf. etwas ausgetauscht werden muss, hat mit der Abnutzung der vielen Vermietungen zu tun und wir werden nächste Woche alles persönlich wieder kontrollieren. Aber Danke für das Lob zur Poolanlage und dem Ausblick,bitte im Interesse anderer Vermieter immer direkt kommunizieren, wenn was anliegt und nicht erst im Kommentar nach einem Urlaub. Sehr schön...

Ein nahezu perfektes Haus: es ist sehr geräumig (wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder), die Zimmer sehr sauber und der Pool perfekt. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war immer schnell und unkompliziert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Danke!

Perfekter Familienurlaub

Das Haus ist durch die Aufteilung perfekt geeignet für Familienurlaub. Wir waren zwei Familien zu vier und fünf Personen. Wir hatten zwei Eltenschlafzimmer und zwei Kinderschlafzimmer. Durch die Grossräumigkeit des Hauses waren wir immer sehr wohl.

Zwischen Berg und Meer, Natur und Stadt

Wir verbrachten eine perfekte Woche in dem Haus von Rene und Victoria. Alles entsprach die Bilder und Beschreibungen im Internet. Unsere Erwartungen waren sogar übertroffen. Wir waren mit ingesamt 9 Leute in dem Haus. Manchmal ist ein Haus nur dürftig für sowas ausgestattet - nicht im Villa Rivera. Die Küche, Schalfzimmer, Pool, Liegen - alles war für genauso viele Leute ausgelegt. Wir haben die Zeit am Pool oder auf der Terrasse oder am überdachten Balkon sehr genossen. Es gab immer ein Platz für Erholung - mit oder ohne Sonne - je nachdem was man in dem Moment gebraucht hat. Die nähe zu Bordighera was ein Zuckerl obendrauf. Die Stadt ist sauber und sehr schön. Wir haben sehr gut dort gegessen und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren zahlreich. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen!

Urlaubsfeeling

Wir konnten die Urlaubstage sehr genießen. Das Haus war geschmackvoll und mit allem ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts. Vor allem der Pool und die Gartenanlage hatte es uns angetan. Belle expérience

Très belle villa, spacieuse, magnifique piscine avec une très belle vue. Propriétaire réactif et sympathique. Pour l formation il faut être véhiculé pour tout déplacements. Mention spéciale pour le personnel d'entretien qui nous a réservé un très bon accueil. Nous recommandons fortement cette villa.

Super, aber die „lieben“ Nachbarn

Perfekt ausgestattetes Haus mit schönem Pool. Großzügige Raumaufteilung. Nette, hilfsbereite Vermieter. Vielleicht nur Pech, aber wegen der Nachbarn kaum Ruhe ( Rasen mähen, Sträucher schneiden, Grundstück mit Bagger umgraben, Haus/ Zufahrt reinigen)

Tolles Haus mit super Raumaufteilung für mehrere Familien

Wir haben mit zwei Familien ( 8 Personen ) eine wunderschöne sonnige Woche in der Villa verbracht. Gut ausgestattete Küche, Pool ( wird auch zwischendurch gereinigt ) , viele verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten rund um das Haus, ruhige Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht...uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Mit dem Auto ist man in 5-10 Minuten am Strand und in der Stadt...die Altstadt erreicht man ebenfalls in 5 Autominuten..lediglich einen Parkplatz zu finden ist eine kleine Herausforderung, hat aber mit ein bisschen Geduld immer geklappt :-) Nette Kommunikation mit den Vermietern und unkomplizierte An- und Abreise.

Soggiorno ideale per famiglie

La villa situata sulle colline di Bordighera, facilmente raggiungibile dall'autostrada è stato un ottimo rifugio dal calore estivo di agosto grazie alla bella piscina, al giardino ben curato e alla zona esterna attrezzata con barbecue e forno a legna. I bambini si sono divertiti moltissimo grazie anche ai numerosi giochi presenti nella casa. In generale l'ho trovata completa di ogni necessità, dal caffè per la macchinetta, all'aria condizionata in ogni stanza, alla doccia calda vicino alla piscina. L'unico piccolo difetto è che la casa richiederebbe forse una supervisione più accurata quando viene consegnata, es. controllare che le luci siano tutte funzionanti. La consiglio soprattutto a gruppi numerosi!
