Overall 3/5. The directions were a big help otherwise would have missed the drive. What made our experience NOT a 5/51. Digital key locks were tricky to get into. We had the right code but had to redo multiple times before figuring out just the right degree to turn the latch to open. 2. My daughter and grandson woke up to a HUGE spider on the loft stairs (size of a tarantula) not kidding. 3. No sheets for the basement red fold out couch but the mattress is in very poor condition. I did contact the host and she responded quickly and within a couple of hours brought more sheets and pillows. 5/5 service. 4. Recommend bringing your own pillows. Most of the pillows were very flat. 5. There is not a path to the downstairs apartment. Only grass. My adult daughter fell in the wet grass and a hole in the yard walking down the hill. Hill is dark. No lighting to get to the basement apartment. 6. Expect nature inside the apartments. Besides the huge spider. We had a frog, praying mantis, beetles and crickets 7. In the checkout instructions it said to wash and dry used white towels; however there is only 2 washers on the premises. Positives1. Close to the Underground Gorge and hiking 2. Plenty of space for a large family. 3. Marathon gas and food close by. 4. Good views from the hill.

Susan was helpful and responsive. The place is worth it for the price, and it fit our large group of 22 people very well. The location was great and only 15 minutes from most of the attractions. Although we enjoyed our stay, we did run into some issues. The showers weren't clean. There were spiderwebs in areas where there shouldn't have been if the house was cleaned properly. There were other bugs too, but that was expected because we were in the forest. The door to the Wren was finicky, and we got locked out for a while. Also, the bathroom door in the Cardinal was broken.
