The Ocean Rogue Inn is an absolute gem that sits on the end of the sandy beach beach just seconds away from the ocean. There is a wonderful community area that offers ample seating around a fire-pit, a sandy volleyball court, and epic views of Twin Rocks Arch sitting just off the shore in the Pacific Ocean.

The Lodge is located just under a mile from downtown Rockaway Beach. You can easily walk or bike to get to town but our sometimes inclement weather makes these options a bit less desirable. Once in the downtown area it is very walkable with lots of boutique businesses to explore. But better yet the amazing beach access out your front door.

• Property Condition and Cleaning Responsibilities: Guests must leave the property in the same condition as found, with normal wear and tear expected. All dishes must be washed, and garbage placed in outdoor bins before check-out. Glitter and confetti are prohibited, with a Minimum $300 cleaning fee if used.
• Occupancy, Quiet Hours, and Prohibited Activities: Occupancy must not exceed the advertised limit. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 7:00am, and noise must not disturb neighbors. Parties, events, commercial use, firearms, fireworks, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
• Pet and Smoking Policies: Guests must pick up after pets, or a $50 charge will apply for cleanup. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property: a $500 fine will apply if evidence of smoking is found.
• Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in: 4:00 PM. Check-out: 10:00 AM. Late check-outs without prior approval may result in an additional fee of up to $100.
• Fire Pit and Outdoor Use: Only use the provided fire pit materials (e.g., no wood in gas fire pits). Ensure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving the area. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 7:00am, and noise must not disturb neighbors.
• Lost and Found: Items left behind will be held for 14 days. A $30 handling fee plus shipping costs applies for returning items.
• Damage and Security Deposit: Guests are responsible for any damages or missing items during their stay. Costs will be deducted from the security deposit or card on file.
• Community or HOA Rules: Guests must comply with all community or HOA rules, including those for pools, parking, and shared spaces. Parking is permitted in designated spaces only.
• Pets: Pets must not be left unattended, either inside or outside the property, even if crated. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. Guests must clean up all pet waste and dispose of in outdoor bins.

Being able to walk a short path to the beach was great. This location would be ideal for a family reunion because everyone could have their own unit with a shared outdoor space.
There was no beach view, but that wasn’t advertised. The highlight was a. Short walk to a fairly unpopulated stretch of beach. We got to see a flock of about 60 pelicans. Awesome!

Very close to the beach, but you will need to walk through a field of thorns to get there. No view of ocean unless you get an upstairs unit. Unit was not level and heavy tilts. Vertigo affected people be warned. Unit is marketed as recently renovated but there were holes in drywall that could see daylight in bathroom, mold around the sink on the counter, flooring that was really roughed up, all cabinet doors misaligned and some unable to close, and handles for the windows to crank are broken. Door to get in and out was really hard to open and close. The worst was the upstairs renter being up at 3am moving furniture, showering, using power tools. Add on no AC and it was not a relaxing vacation. For the price and marketing as newly remodeled, you'd expect more. Like timely responses from management, knobs not falling off door handles, and property kept clear of thorns especially when marked pet and kid friendly. A nice beach day to escape the blistering heat turned into an actual nightmare with no relief. Thanks for the migraine and foot sores!
