About this property

‘Hemlock’ Riverfront Cabin near Olympic National Park

2 Hemlock Cabin. High ceilings and warm mountain-inspired touches give the Hemlock (after the majestic Washington State tree, the Western Hemlock) a feeling of space that belies its five hundred square feet. A queen bed, gas fireplace, full bathroom, and kitchenette make it easy to arrive and immediately exhale. The private porch and charcoal grill sit alongside the Sol Duc River, framed by old-growth forest on all sides — the kind of setting that makes it hard to go back inside. Evenings naturally drift toward the shared fire pit, open skies, and the deep quiet that the Olympic Peninsula does better than most places. Easy parking and a well-stocked kitchenette mean less logistics, more time outside. A solid base for hot springs, rain-forest trails, or a morning with nowhere particular to be.

The location is not as scenic and wooded as the pictures present. It is more of a tiny home park situated in front of woods. The homes are plain on the outside but decorated cute inside. Fireplace did’t work and it did get quite cold with only one heater. The towels in the bathroom were wet and I am not sure if it was from the open window or if they just were not dry when hung up. For almost $300 I expected a bit more for my money than a studio tiny home. I thought it was a cabin.
