Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please leave beds turned down if they were slept in. We will handle pulling the sheets. Please ensure all leftover food is out of refrigerator.
Please ensure all furniture is back where you found it. Please ensure our vacuum (which we leave for guests to use) is plugged in.
Please ensure yard is clear of any mess and that all trash and recycling is in the barrels on the porch. Thanks!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Welcome! We’re the Cheney and Scheidt families — two close-knit families with roots in both Maine and Ohio who are excited to share our home with you.

Lindsey and Stephanie are sisters, born and raised in Sanford, Maine. Lindsey now lives in Saco with her husband Warren and their two sports-loving boys. Stephanie resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband Andi and their two energetic girls who also keep busy with sports and activities.

Both Lindsey and Stephanie work as dedicated nurses. Warren, originally from Sanford as well, is a partner at an accounting firm, and Andi, originally from Cincinnati, works in the electrical distribution industry. Fun fact: Andi played on the very first Sanford Mainers baseball team — part of the prestigious New England Collegiate Baseball League.

As a family, we love Maine and have a deep appreciation for everything it offers — from lakes and coastlines to small-town charm. We’re thrilled to open our home and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy hosting!
