Built by the Alexander Construction Company in 1961, this mid-century retreat is full of signature post-and-beam ceilings, walls of glass that frame the outdoors, and wonderfully open living spaces. While you enjoy the charms of mid-century architecture, you'll also be spoiled by the modern creature-comforts of a very recent renovation, including a brand new kitchen, family and living room with renovated washrooms.

The hallmark of this home is the oasis of a backyard that you can fully enjoy as you relax and play in the pool and spa outdoors, or indoors, as you open the 20 foot sliding doors and the 5 foot front pivot door to invite the outdoors in! You'll spend your days unwinding in the heated backyard pool with a beautiful pebble finish and tanning shelf, relaxing in the whirlpool spa (that you will never get out of!), and lounging in the sun with an unbeatable surrounding view of palm trees and mountains!

Enjoy the private front yard in the morning as you sit back, enjoy your coffee and listen to the birds chirp. As the sun sets each evening, you can prepare meals in the updated kitchen with custom cabinetry, a gigantic quartz island and stainless steel appliances and then dine indoors at the table while taking in the outdoor Palm Springs vibe with fully open views of the colorfully lit pool and landscaped gardens. After dinner, catch up with your loved ones by the outdoor fireplace or the floor-to-ceiling fireplace inside. Late night, cozy-up for a movie and close the sliding door to let others get some well-needed rest.

The directions for the lock box and elsewhere in the house made for an easy transition for our vacation stay. Light switches were easy to use, the house was beautiful as was the pool. There was ample space, towels were plentiful.

AMAZING outdoor space! The inside was clean and had everything we needed. The backyard was the really the best. There wasn't any wardrobe space in one of the bedrooms, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. This is our third year with Vacation Palm Springs, booking was easy and the team are on hand immediately, night and day, in case of a problem, very helpful and friendly!

Lovely

This is a wonderful home to use as a base for exploring Palm Springs and the surrounding area. It is close to downtown yet feels like it is away from it all. The neighborhood is lovely for walking and biking. The house itself is exactly as it appears in the photos. It is beautifully appointed and comfortable. I especially loved the kitchen office area where I was able to do my work each morning and watch the sun rise to start each day. The landscaping and outdoor areas are delightful- we especially liked the outdoor fireplace for the chillier January evenings. This entire team works with a true spirit of hospitality. We had never been to Palm Springs before and Nate helped us pick out the perfect spot that met our needs. Patrick helped us several times when we could not figure out a few things with the house- he was prompt and acted as if we were the only people he needed to help- we felt taken care of and welcomed. I would definitely work with this team again because they clearly value their clients and want to ensure that people have a great experience.
