This renovated open concept home was built in 1936 remodeled and consistently updated, nothing overlooked!!. Front and rear patios bring a stunning quartz stone; poolside is impeccably done with the same stone along with a waterfall to bring that tranquil setting. The Primary Suite is 24’ x 19’, overlooking the pool & spa surrounded by French doors on three sides. Custom fireplace wall finishes imported from Nepal and Argentina, the tile in the Primary Suite is imported from Spain, bringing out the intense beauty of this home.

Custom furnishings were hand picked or custom made for this property, nothing was overlooked to bring out a combination of Old World/Spanish/Modern Industrial feel throughout the entire property.

Why settle for a 1 bedroom condo, vacationers on the left, right, below, above, sharing a crowded pool, and driving to downtown Palm Springs, why book a home larger than you need... this home has all the privacy, amenities, conveniences and more.

**I welcome long term renters (4 month max). 28+ days are tax exempt. If your quote shows taxes in the quote total, the taxes will be omitted after booking.

Pool/Spa heat are not included in the total. Optional fees apply. Rates are from $55 - per night depending on gas rate increases from October 1-April 30. Spa on its own $25 per night.

Take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Last item before leaving - load all towels in washer including dish towels. Place 1- 2 pods(provided) depending on load in washer. Begin wash on normal cycle. No need to wait

Strip Beds and put bottom, top sheet, and one pillow case in left over pillow case. Total 4.. shams stay on other pillows. Set sheets bedside

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

A signed Pet Policy required Additional Pet Damage deposit required (different from pet fee)

A signed Rental agreement (pt 2) is required to finalize all bookings. Rental agreement due on the date posted on the rental agreement.

The rental agreement must be returned and fully completed, otherwise the booking will be cancelled and refunded.

Beautiful home in an amazing location!

This is a beautiful home in a wonderful location. While close to all of the activity, the house and landscape offer a peaceful escape to rest and relax. We found the pool and spa a great place to start and end the day. In addition, the house is as magical as the pictures with everything in perfect working order. Jym is a wonderful host. We rent frequently and it is rare for the host to welcome you at check in and talk through any items you might want or need to know. We loved his suggestions for things to do during our stay alongside local restaurant recommendations. Jym has built a special place and we would highly recommend this rental to others. We’ll be back!

Weekend Retreat

I would absolutely come back!

Everything was as advertised. The house was a wonderful oasis on the edge of the strip. Hiking, biking, restaurants, night life all with a private Shangri-La waiting when I needed some down time. Jut book before someone else does.

Loved everything. Perfect location. Very quiet and private. Jym is an amazing host. The house is impeccably maintained, clean and is well stocked. Enjoyed the pool and spa and opted for heating both. The location is about 7 minutes from the airport and closer to many restaurants and shopping. We will definitely stay their again.

It's All True

Everything the other reviews mention about this sweet, peaceful retreat is true. It is private, quiet, and relaxing. It is walking distance to downtown, and all that you need. Renting beach cruisers from BIKE PS allowed us to start our day with a ride thru the adjacent neighborhoods of post modern ranches and spanish architecture. The day pass at Aqua Caliente's "The Spa at Sec-he" was incredible and included use of all saunas, zero gravity rooms, mineral baths, salt baths, jacuzzi's, and an amazing outdoor mineral swimming pool. What a great stay. We highly recommend this special slice of heaven, and are so grateful to Jym.

Great Property and Amazing Host!

This house is exactly as advertised! It is a lovely property, quiet, secluded and restful. The pool and hot tub are sublime. Be sure to look for the hidden shamrock as the sun comes up! But the real gem in this one is the host. Jym was responsive, accommodating, knowledgable and so willing to make our stay as comfortable and happy as possible. I can't say enough great things about the experience--from restaurant and grocery store recommendations to golf course and hiking suggestions. He was so helpful--and that started from the day of our booking. Lovely!

One of a Kind!

Casa Zahara is a rare find in Palm Springs, especially for the single traveler who doesn't need a multi-bedroom property but still wants a private pool setting. The house is comfortable, well appointed, and in a great location towards the south end of the main downtown strip. The pool and hot tub are secluded and serene, offering tons of privacy and relaxation. The owner, Jym, was gracious and easy to work with. He's also very thorough in walking you through the house upon arrival, taking the extra step to include info about PS and what's available in the immediate area (very useful for anyone new to the area). Thanks for an amazing few days of rest, Jym. I'll be back!

Fabulous vacation rental. Would give it 6+ stars if we could!

Wow! Can't say enough good things!!! The home is impeccably clean and a great layout. Everything as pictured/stated and all worked as it should. Completely private yard, evening lighting provides a beautiful ambience. Chairs/lounge furniture are super comfortable, in great condition. Location, location, location – it is perfect! Close to the downtown strip, completely walkable to restaurants/bars/shops. Most importantly, it is not in the “wind path”. You will be able to sit out in the evenings. Jym was a fantastic host. He was able to accommodate early checkin, met us on arrival, gave a tour of the home. Extremely responsive before/during our stay. We had a minor issue with the spa after maintenance and we expected to be told that the pool guys would come back next day to look at/fix. Jym was there quickly, made contact with the pool guys directly and all was back to normal within the hour. Important to note that there was nothing at all wrong with the spa - pool tech inadvertently flipped a switched. Pool service is 2x/week – they do a great job and are super nice and friendly. Gardeners are 1x/week. Never saw them but could tell that they had been and they did a good job. We have been vacationing in Palm Springs since 2012 – we have stayed in both hotels and houses. This is by far our best experience, our best accommodation and our best location. We can’t wait to go back and fully intend on making this our regular vacation rental!

Fantastic 10 night stay

Very enjoyable stay. Charming surroundings. Great hot tub and pool - very private. Comfortable king size bed. Good bathroom with shower directly accessible from the pool. Television with a large number of streaming services available. Comfortable sofas in the living room area. Private gated parking in a safe neighborhood with easy access to the downtown. Perhaps most importantly, a very attentive and accommodating host who will quickly respond to any requests.

A Perfect Stay!

We had a fantastic stay here. Beautiful decor, hot tub and pool, bedroom fireplace......really close to downtown happenings and restaurants. Owner Jym couldn't have been more available and provided us with all we needed to know!

I am a local owner, I do not use property managers, I tend to every detail from updating and maintaining the property between every guest arrival to doing my own inspections after the house has been cleaned, in addition, I meet and greet every guest so they are familiar with all the electronics and technical aspects of the house. My response time is instant ensuring that each and every guest has a memorable stay.

I have dedicated my career to the hospitality industry, working at prestigious hotels such as the Ritz Carlton. My passion has always been to provide my guests the best in service and quality, attention to detail and always anticipating needs. I give you my home to enjoy.

I purchased this property in August of 2012, immediately I had a vision of what I felt this home should represent. I added on a Primary Suite, renovated the interior of the home giving it an open and larger feeling, modernized to today's world, but kept the charm of 1930's Spanish architecture. Located on the edge of Warms Sands, the convenience of walking or biking to everything downtown is there. Bars/Pubs 3 blocks, restaurants 2 blocks, Townies(Local coffee/bagel house) 3 blocks, Antique Mall 4 blocks, Banks 2 blocks, and so much more.
