Upon entering the cottage, you'll immediately notice the rustic charm of the wooden walls, combined with modern amenities that make for the perfect vacation getaway. The living room features a cozy wood-burning fireplace and comfortable seating, perfect for snuggling up and watching a movie on the Apple TV after a day of swimming in the lake. Our newly renovated interior provides all the modern amenities while still maintaining its adorable charm.

Camp Birch provides private lake access with a dock for swimming and relaxing, as well as 2 paddle boards and 1 kayak available for guests to use. The grassy yard is perfect for playing lawn games or just relaxing and enjoying the stunning views of the lake. For those looking to enjoy the water, we provide a lily pad float to unwind on! Enjoy our outdoor shower after yoga in the backyard; we provide two yoga mats on site.

The cottage also features a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for whipping up delicious meals to enjoy with friends and family. Brand-new appliances were installed in 2023! In the evening, enjoy a barbecue on the patio while taking in the breathtaking scenery. At the end of the day, retreat to one of our three cozy bedrooms, each with luxury bedding and ample space to relax. The cottage's two bathrooms make getting ready in the morning a breeze.

Families can travel with ease knowing we provide a pack 'n play on site and life jackets for kids and adults.

Leland, another nearby town, is just a 5-minute drive away, known for its quaint charm and beautiful beaches. For a bit more “city excitement,” downtown Traverse City is just a 20-minute drive away, offering endless opportunities for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Throughout the area, you'll find a wide variety of wineries, breweries, and family-friendly activities. Take a scenic drive along the Leelanau Wine Trail, sampling local wines and taking in the stunning views of the countryside. Or, head to one of the many nearby trails for a day of exploring. This is a strictly non-smoking property, including all indoor and outdoor areas.
For insurance and liability reasons, guests are strictly not permitted to tie any watercraft to the dock under any circumstances.
