Clean, quiet and comfortable. Perfect location for anyone who wants to explore the spectacular Madison Valley. Owners are local and very helpful and hospitable.
This place is absolutely perfect for a solo fisherman. You’ve got everything you need in the cabin, plus it’s a short walk or bicycle ride to historic Ennis, MT.
The owner’s are available with a text message, if needed. They are 5 star hosts with a five star property.
The owners are very responsive and provided everything needed within the unit. Large shower with great hot water. The bed is very comfortable and the WiFi is fast. Decorated lovely with great Montana feel. Everything was clean and there is AC and heat. There is also a BBQ right outside with spectacular views of the mountains. Close to town and the river. You also have your own private driveway.

Tiny Dimension, Vast Friendliness
'Tiny Dimension, Vast Friendliness' applies both to the cabin and its owners as well as to the village of Ennis and its people (and doggies). Jack and Jennifer are great to talk to and text with about recommendations, advice, and life experiences. Other 'residents' of Ennis are deer, ducks, pigs, chicken, cows, horses, ponies, and fish. Want more wilderness: 70 miles to the W entrance of Yellowstone; lots of bison. Want the Old West: 15 miles to Virginia City; life as it used to be. I would rent again anytime.
This was my second time staying at this property, and just like the first, it was nothing short of excellent. I stayed for four weeks each time, and it truly feels like a home away from home. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of care into making sure guests are comfortable and well taken care of.The location is ideal. It’s only about a 45-minute drive to Bozeman if you need access to a big city. The surrounding area is an outdoor lover’s dream—hiking, fishing, hunting, and exploring wide-open spaces with stunning views. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just some peace and quiet in nature, you’ll find it here. The hosts are incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in making your stay a memorable one. They go above and beyond to ensure you’re comfortable and have what you need. You can tell they care not just about the property, but about the people who stay there.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic escape with all the comforts of home and the best of Montana right outside your door. I’m already looking forward to my next stay.
We loved every minute that we stayed in your cabin. Sparkling clean! Very cozy and homey. Sad to be leaving. Would definitely recommend this property 😊
Jenn and Jack were super nice. Everything was nice and clean. Its located in a quiet neighborhood. Although I didnt get to use the yard much due to weather it has a bbq area and some sweet views. Antelope and deer come right in the yard. I would definitely stay there again.
I had the pleasure of staying at Jenn and Jack's cabin in Ennis with my pup for the entire month of September 2020. It exceeded any expectations I might have had from the listing. First of all, it is not "rustic" but has a beautiful interior with paneling, plaster walls, and a paneled vaulted ceiling which makes it very spacious. A separate bathroom with a large tiled shower and lots of hot water, kitchenette with sink, microwave, and toaster oven, fully stocked with linens, blankets, cleaning supplies, soaps, shampoo, all the goodies. The bed is so comfortable I wanted to sneak it into my SUV and take it home with me. Jack and Jenn are what I would call "good people" friendly, responsive, helpful at all times. Ennis has stunning natural beauty. I could not recommend their cabin more highly, hence the name, Ennis Ritz Carlton
New to Montana and fishing. Book while you can. It will be hard to get soon. Very comfortable, over 200 sq ft cabin with all you need. Best local hosts ever. Accommodated my last minute scheduling perfectly. All the basics here done right. Has a microwave, boiling pot, coffee maker fresh towels, soap options. Fast wifi, plenty of power outlets. Plenty of lighting. Hot shower with linens. Not isolated, you hear some brief light neighborhood activity, but all very friendly and comfortable. 3 block walk into town past roaming neighborhood deer and you are there. Recommend driving to many nearby fishing spots. Some are walking distance. Hope to return. Miss it already.
Jenn and Jack made everything a breeze. Very responsive! And as advertised, but better to me!
I loved a visit to my old town. Visiting old haunts and friends.
Thank you both!
Suited my needs, which were few. A clean and cozy place to sleep, shower, and make a sandwich. Excellent home base from which to explore southwestern Montana. Great value. Super friendly town and neighbors.

Fell in love
The picture suggested this cabin was on the riverbank and that was the ONLY disappoinment. Jen welcomed me warmly and even brought flowers. The setting is beautiful and the eagles and new snow on the mountains added a sense of wonder. Ennis is a fascinating frontier town. Thank you, Jen Doney!

Great vacation rental and pet friendly!
I really enjoyed my stay in this cabin. It is small but extremely well-kept and comfortable for one person. It has a BBQ, a TV, a small fridge, a microwave, a toaster, and a beautiful shower with ample hot water. It is very pet friendly and has a large yard for your dog to play. The owners are friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this cabin to any visiting fisherman or tourist that is looking for a nice, affordable place to stay in Ennis. It is also within walking distance to town!
