A picturesque view over Port de Soller
There is no doubt that the view from this apartment is breathtaking. The location is high on a hill, overlooking Port de Soller. There are 50 steps from the road to the apartment (located on the top floor). The apartment is over two levels with both bathrooms located on the bottom level with the bedrooms. The apartment was very clean, but lacked amenities (one roll of toilet paper for the two bathrooms, no refrigerated water or milk or coffee pods supplied). The washing machine was great and efficient, but the clothes rack was broken, the iron needs replacing and the antiquated ironing board is in need of a new cover. The pool is not located at the apartment, but 3 gates along the street. The apartment was very comfortable, but it is the little things that make accommodation 5 star.

Clean with wonderful views but not near the beach.
This flat is spacious and comfortable with a terrace and a patio with lovely views of part of the bay of Port Soller and the surrounding hillsides. It is clean and well equipped to cater to all the basic needs. However, it is worth noting that some of the crockery, pots and pans are showing signs of wear and tear and may require replacement. Communication with the host’s representative (rep) was sketchy. She was not available when we arrived to show us around and although there are comprehensive instructions in the apartment regarding its use, it would have been a welcoming touch to have someone there to show us around. During the week some phone calls to the rep were not answered and most WhatsApp messages were not responded to for at least 24hrs. The apartment has a designated parking spot for guests situated on the roadside and secured by a key operated collapsible barrier to prevent unauthorised use. When we arrived, the barrier had been dislodged and was not operational, rendering it unusable. Although repairs were carried out during the week, the barrier remained inoperative. This meant that we had to find parking elsewhere. This was not a major issue but could be, at busier times of the year. The most significant issue with the apartment is it’s claimed proximity to Port de Soller beach. The VBRO listing suggests an easy 6 minutes’ walk to the beach, which is not accurate. Fantastic apartment
This is a great apartment above the port. Well equipped and comfortable. You just need to be prepared for the walk up the stairs with your luggage! We would definitely return.
