Location...Location...Location!!! 1600 square foot 3 bed/2 bath rambler sleeps 6, 3 queen sized beds, and even a pack and play (porta-crib) for your little one, gives everyone plenty of room to spread out. Our home has an open floor plan with 4 flat screen TV's (60",44", 23" and 18') the 60" has a DVR and VHS and extended channels and the guest rooms have built in DVD player. The backyard has Malibu lights and tropical landscape. This includes a natural gas BBQ, patio furniture (table & chairs and 2 chaise lounges). There are games, puzzles, internet connection to enjoy or just peace and quiet--we've got it all.

Surprise Stadium, home of the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals is a short 1/2 mile from your home away from home, as is Surprise Tennis and Racquet Ball Complex, Pickle Ball courts and the Dream Catcher Ball Park. The Rainbow Play Park and Urban Fishing is right next to the Library and across from the ball field. The Ottawa University is located right behind the Dream Catcher Ball Park. The Peoria Sports Complex, Chase Baseball Field, Goodyear Stadium, Glendale Arena, Westgate, Suns Basketball Arena, Cardinal Football Stadium, NASCAR PIR, and Luke Air Force base are only a short drive away. For the golf enthusiast there are dozens of local courses and hundreds around us. Live theater, the zoo, hiking trails, fishing, movies, bowling, restaurants, shopping, urgent cares, hospitals and much, much more are all in or near surprise.

Randy was responsive, and we enjoyed our stay for a high schooler’s baseball tournament. Better than getting hotel rooms. No complaints about the place or stay at all, pretty much as advertised. We did a bit of cooking, and it accommodated us well enough, but the pots and pans could use an update. It seemed to have all of the necessities for cooking meals otherwise. Beds were comfortable. Good size TV in main room. Couch and chairs were cozy too. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice Time in Surprise

Great location for a stay in AZ. Easy to get to off 303 or 101 and close to grocery stores. Close access to plenty of golf courses. Nice house with 3 bedrooms, so plenty of room.

Family weekend

Property was exactly as listed - clean and well maintained. We were in town for a funeral so didn’t do to many “fun” things but did catch up with family at the house every evening while there. Great quiet neighborhood - will absolutely rent this place next time we are in the Surprise area.

Beautiful vacation!

The house was very nice and made us feel at home. It was also very clean! It was our first time using VRBO so we were very nervous coming into it but Randy and June were very pleasant and have a beautiful house. We will definitely be back in the future. Thank you for everything!

Perfect in every way!!

We have stayed in a few VRBO's over the last several years and this was by far the best one. The home is well maintained, clean, and very nicely furnished with both furniture and personal amenities. Check-in and check-out was very quick and easy. The location was perfect it was not only close to ball parks, shopping and down town, but the subdivision was also clean, quite, and very safe. If you are heading to Phoenix and are looking for a nice comfortable place to stay in a great location, we highly recommend that you book this home.

Comfy and Nicely Furnished

This was a great location that was close to other family in the area. The home was very comfortable with plenty of seating for four adults and grandchild. It was great to be able to park in the garage. Randy was very good about communicating and helping to make our visit with family a success. We did note that the wireless internet was very slow and the carpet in the great room needs a deep cleaning.

Absolutely wonderful home!

This was an incredible place to stay! My son was in town playing in a baseball tournament in this property was located less than 2 miles from the stadium. It had all of the features of home! It was tremendously clean and was well stocked with every day items that one ordinarily would not travel with. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. Everything this home had to offer was exactly what I would want being away from my own home for over a week! Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

We are both retired. Grew up in Huntington Beach, CA 2nd generation. Married 1969 - High School Sweethearts. We moved to Irvine, CA for 33 years then came to Surprise to retire. We have 2 wonderful daughters and 5 grandchildren. We love Arizona, whether it's summer time or winter and enjoying baseball and the outdoors. We love boating with our family and friends and hiking the White Tanks.

Why they chose this property

Baseball is our favorite pastime, as well as our children and grandchildren. We live in the same community as our rental and being within walking distance from Surprise Stadium is a real plus. We purchased this home as a new build, while still in California, so we could come and visit family and friends and use as a vacation home for ourselves. So when we retired we bought another new build in the same community and retired to enjoy life in the sunshine and baseball. So our AZ retreat home is now open for everyone to enjoy what we discovered in Surprise.

What makes this property unique

You can walk to the Public Library, Urban fishing, professional sporting events, Ottawa University, wonderful public pool and water park (opens in May), eateries, Movie theaters, bowling alley with laser tag and fun zone, grocery stores, Walgreens, CVS, close to the Wildlife Zoo and Aquarium and the AZ Famous Dillians BBQ restaurant at the Zoo and much, much more. The sunshine is just an added plus to make your vacation destination so desirable.
