SpaceX Launches and Fun Filled Family Beach Days - 1st Floor 2BR/2BA Condo

SpaceX fans and beach lovers, make this your home base for fun and exciting times on beautiful South Padre Island. A 20 minute beach walk takes you to the North jetty or into Isla Blanca Park where you will have an incredible view of the SpaceX launch site. At the end of a quick two-minute walk, you’ll be building sandcastles with the kids or swimming the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Two queen and two full beds sleep up to eight persons. You'll enjoy the view of the sand dunes, beach, and surf from the outdoor patio. The swimming pool, hot tub, tennis/pickleball court, and BBQ pits are just steps away from the front door.

Booking Note: Damage Protection Fee - In order to protect the guest and host from damage which may occur during the guest's stay, during the booking/payment process you will have two options to provide damage protection. The first option is a $59 NON-REFUNDABLE fee which will provide $1500 of damage protection for you and the host. The second option will allow a $1500 REFUNDABLE damage deposit to be placed on your payment method. This fee will be removed from your payment method within 14 days of check-out.

The space
The Condo is located on the ground floor and is adjacent to the pool, hot tub, and tennis court. The unit features tile floors with granite countertops in the kitchen and baths. The living area features a leather sofa and love seat with a dining table that will seat six. The breakfast bar features four bar stools which will provide total dinner seating for ten guests. The kitchen is supplied with all the cookware, utensils, and amenities you need to provide a home cooked meal away from home. The white interior with ocean blue accents in the bedrooms and living room provide a light, airy, open feel. The master bedroom features two queen size beds and is connected to the master bath by a short hallway lined with cabinets and drawers. The guest bedroom features two full size beds with cabinets and drawers and windows overlooking the pool area. A sliding patio door provides quick access to the pool and tennis court. The second bath is located just outside the guest room. There is a tiled outdoor patio where you can sit and enjoy a view of the sand dunes, beach, and surf. After a day of sun and surf, there is a fresh water wash station nearby for rinsing off the sand. The tennis court has been recently striped for those of you who enjoy a competitive game of Pickle Ball. For the evening, there are three TV's featuring ROKU's internet streaming service. WiFi is available for business or pleasure.

Guest access
Sea Vista is located on the beach just south of where the Queen Isabella causeway intersects the island. This is an advantage because during peak season, the vast majority of traffic turns to the North. You will avoid traffic when entering and leaving the island. The access road to Sea Vista leads to a security gate which requires entry of a code to open and there is 24/7 security provided. There is open parking provided with a limit of two autos per unit. For Tesla EV owners, there are two SuperChargers located at the Holiday Inn Resort which is adjacent to the Sea Vista complex. Padre Blvd, the city's "main drag", is easily and quickly reached from the complex. You'll be close to great restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. Fun and unique rental vehicles are available for touring the island. Island Metro is a FREE public transportation service that operates within the City of South Padre Island and Port Isabel. The South Padre Island Visitor Center is three blocks away and is one of the stops on the Island Metro routes.

Other things to note
The condo has two bedrooms and can sleep up to 8 persons. The Master bedroom features two queen size and the guest room provides two full size beds. This arrangement is perfect for two families looking to share costs and can provide each family their own dedicated bed and bath rooms. There is ample storage capability in each bedroom so you won't have to dig around the inside of your suitcase.

Checking In
Each guest is required to obtain a parking placard to be displayed from the rear view mirror of their car. To obtain your placard you must stop at the Sea Vista management office and sign in with them. They will have received your name and arrival date and will be expecting. If you arrive after normal office hours, there is a security guard present from 5pm until 11:30pm. The security officer phone number is located on the office door and he/she will assist you in checking in and provide you the parking placard. Should you arrive after 11:30pm please visit the office the next morning to receive your placard.
