It’s simply perfect for a holiday or a quick getaway from everyday life with family or your closest friends. Relax to some good music, chill out or play video games on the Wii in front of the big TV, play board games, or browse through a good book stress-free in front of the electric fireplace—the spacious living-dining area also offers a great view through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The open kitchen area is perfectly equipped and invites you to host your very own private cooking competition. Barbecue and chill on the terrace or the rooftop terrace?—you’re guaranteed to find more than one favourite spot here. The gas grill and patio furniture are available for your use from May through October.
In addition to the chic little shower room, this property also features a completely private wellness area with a sauna, wellness shower, and a bathtub for relaxation. All three bedrooms feature blackout curtains, a TV, and comfortable box-spring beds. Choose just the way you like it, with mattresses in firmness levels H2 (2x) or H3 (1x). We wish you sweet dreams and a restful night’s sleep. A toddler high chair, travel cot, changing pad, children’s toilet seat, and bathroom step stool are available for our youngest guests.
You can store your bike in the tool shed, and of course, you can park your car right in front of the house. We love being close to everything and a house (almost) right on the lake—do you, too?

Winter sports, water sports, swimming, fishing, hiking, and cycling… This region is a destination in virtually every season. Just a few minutes’ drive away, a bit off the beaten track from the tourist hotspots of Willingen and Winterberg, lies the little village of Heringhausen, nestled in the midst of a lush green natural area and right on the beautiful Lake Diemel. Whether you’re seeking peace and quiet, looking for an active holiday, or travelling with the whole family, you’ll experience breathtaking views and unspoiled nature on certified hiking trails and designated mountain bike and cycling routes. For a day trip, crystal-clear streams and romantic villages with historic buildings in the immediate vicinity are just waiting to be discovered. The Fort Fun Adventure Park in Bestwig, Winterberg, Berleburg Castle, and Willingen—a town known far beyond the state borders for its lively nightlife—are also nearby. For now(!), Heringhausen and the Diemelsee Holiday Village are still considered absolute hidden gems in the region. However, the local tourist information centre has already undergone an extensive renovation and offers its guests—in addition to its super-friendly and helpful staff—an indoor and outdoor swimming pool with an adjacent wellness and sauna area, as well as an interactive exhibition about Lake Diemelsee.
