Charming home details for relaxing and cosy days under a thatched roof!

Welcome to the Emes Stuuv holiday rental in Oevenum, located in a historic building dating back to 1720.
“Emes Stuuv” is Frisian and means “Grandmother’s Parlour.” That’s what the locals affectionately call the apartment.

You’ll enjoy the idyllic village of Oevenum and stay in a quiet location with a beautiful view. The farm store, the bakery, a bus stop, and two restaurants are all within a 200-meter walking distance. The marsh, which is perfect for relaxing walks and bike rides, begins right behind the farm store.

The cosy living area with an open, modern kitchen and the bright bathroom await you on the ground floor. Here you’ll also find, separated by opaque curtains, two bunk-style single beds with an alcove-like feel that children especially love.
The open sleeping loft with a double bed is accessible from the upper floor via a wooden staircase.
The ground floor is heated by underfloor heating on cold days, ensuring a cosy stay. Outside, there is a beach chair that invites you to relax and is welcome for your use.
The holiday rental in this historic building is ideal for two people or for two adults with two children. Dogs are welcome.

A flat-screen TV, a Blu-ray player, and a stereo system with Bluetooth provide multimedia entertainment.

Emes Stuuv in Oevenum is located in the middle of a small street.
During the summer months, the weekly market—so popular on Föhr—takes place right outside the door every Thursday. On Saturdays, every other week, you can find beautiful and unique items at the craft market at the farm store.

A parking space is located right next to the house. An electric car charging station is available approximately 75 metres away. You can store and charge your bicycles in the lockable barn. Wi-Fi access is provided free of charge.
