This property was just as described. The location close to downtown was perfect. The entire house was very clean and all furnishings were of excellent taste and like new condition. You can tell that quality was at the top of the list when remodeling and decorating this house. We have stayed at numerous VRBO properties over the years and have never seen one furnished this nicely with all of the basic things you might need. Even the towels were large and soft. We had a very relaxing time in this warm and cozy cottage.

Our stay at Ruthie was everything we could have asked for. With it's great location, charm, cleanliness, ease of access, and wonderful amenities you really did not need anything else. We loved it's old charm feel and modern remodeled comforts. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and the bathroom was well stocked. We will be back for sure and would recommend Ruthie to our family and friends. Thank you to our host Paul for a fantastic stay. The O'Neill's

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hayward in sweet little "Ruthie", the cottage. From the minute you walk in, you feel you've landed in a home that's going to envelop you with comfort. The home has been carefully restored and tastefully decorated. It's the perfect blend of vintage nostalgia and modern comforts. You can slip into bed at night knowing the linens are of fine quality, and get ready for each day in a bathroom that's very clean and stocked with everything you could need. We enjoy cooking at home, but usually we are disappointed to find old pots and pans and cheap dishes. Ruthie's kitchen is stocked with high quality everything!! The cottage is walking distance to downtown. If you like to shop, there's plenty to enjoy. We absolutely know that we will come back here, and will recommend Ruthie to our friends and family. Thanks for a lovely stay for our 46th anniversary. Jane and Gary
