The Gardener's House - Zinzow Castle

The gardener's house is located in the heart of the estate, in the front park along the avenue leading to Landgrabental, and underwent extensive renovation in 2020–2021. Inside, you’ll find a spacious, open-concept living area that extends partially to the full height of the house—plenty of light and fresh air for a relaxing holiday. Eco-friendly building materials such as wood, clay plaster, natural stone, and organic paints create a particularly pleasant atmosphere and a healthy living environment.

The two-story house can accommodate up to four people. On the ground floor, you’ll find a handcrafted, custom-built kitchen unit, a dining area, and a spacious living area with a wood-burning stove—ideal for cosy evenings. A separate bathroom completes the lower level.

The upper floor features two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds) and a bathroom with a shower. This makes the Gärtnerhaus a perfect choice for couples, families, or friends who value design, quality, and atmosphere.



Zinzow Castle is located about 35 km south of the island of Usedom and is a special place for anyone who wants to combine culture, nature, and the atmosphere of a castle. The estate is surrounded by an approximately 10-hectare English landscape park, which was designed by a Swedish master gardener and is located within a nature reserve—perfect for walks against a historic backdrop.

With its stylishly restored halls, the castle offers a festive setting for receptions, conferences, seminars, and celebrations. Holiday apartments of various sizes are available for guests. The annual programme is also diverse: In May and November, large arts-and-crafts markets take place on the estate grounds, and other cultural events round out the offerings. Occasionally, the host also invites guests to a free carriage ride through the landscape shaped by the Ice Age.

Those interested in fine dining and culture can visit the historic distillery and gain insights from the master distiller. Upon request, guided tours of the gallery in the former farm horse stable are available, including an exhibition of remarkable carriages—from the trotter cart to the English city coupé. Trail riders and holidaymakers with horses will also find suitable accommodation at the estate, both in the manor house and the stables.
