Clean, perfect location, well equipped, plenty of space to hang out together with family. If you are looking for convenient location to downtown, perfect. Spacious, air conditioned, lovely view of ocean for morning coffee on the balcony. Walking distance to shopping, by the water dinner and drinks, small local beach, great coffee shops. We took several day trips from here in our rental car (Volcano Park - 2.5 hour scenic drive with several nice pit stops, Hilo- 2 hour scenic drive with waterfall stop, daytime Snorkeling and nighttime manta ray snorkeling-15 min drive, and 45 minutes from Mauna Kea resort golf and spa day and Hapuna beach). Nice home base to come back to in the evening for dinner out or dinner at home. Would definitely stay here again if we returned. Maybe not for you if you are looking for a straightforward resort vacation”…but perfect for our week of exploration and variety.

Amazing view, amazing host! Condo was fully stocked and CLEAN! They have thought of everything and were a sigh of relief for us after having to change condos from another place. Absolute comfort w a/c split units and convenience. Communication was great. Price was great! Will definitely come again!

We received the storm of a decade resulting in heavy rain and intense wind, flooding, washouts, and the intermittent loss of power, water and communications across the entire state. While that may have ruined an ideal vacation, we had to and continue to live through that experience. We cannot control the weather, or similar events like volcanic eruptions, but we can control the living conditions of the condo unit and wish you had addressed that specifically instead of giving us 4 stars because of rain. We hope you were comfortable and that the accommodations were sufficient for your needs.
