About this property

Rustic River Cabin - True Montana Experience

Escape to a true Montana experience at this rustic riverfront cabin nestled along the Bull River in Northwest Montana. Set in a private, peaceful location, this cabin offers the perfect place to unplug, slow down, and reconnect with the outdoors.

Whether you're here to fish, hunt, relax, or simply take in the breathtaking scenery, you’ll find everything you need right outside your door. Enjoy your own personal stretch of the Bull River, surrounded by a mature grove of old-growth cedar trees. Bring your kayaks, tubes, and swimming gear—river access is just steps from the cabin, making it easy to spend your days on the water.

This property is ideally located near some of the Cabinet Mountains’ favorite hiking trails, scenic overlooks, swimming spots, and prime fishing and hunting areas. It’s the perfect basecamp for outdoor enthusiasts looking to experience Northwest Montana in its truest form.

After a full day of adventure, kick back, relax, and take in the wide-open skies and quiet stillness that make this place so special.

This is not a luxury stay—it’s a back-to-basics cabin designed for those who appreciate nature, solitude, and a little bit of grit. This beautiful, old, log cabin is set in the woods so if you see a critter or two, or a bug or two, no need to panic - it is to be expected given the surroundings! If you’re looking for a polished resort, this isn’t it. But if you’re after an authentic Montana getaway, you’ll feel right at home.

Come experience Montana the way it was meant to be.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
• Please pull sheets from beds but leave the comforter on the bed. • Please put all used sheets and towels by washer.

If you choose to enjoy the outdoor fire ring, please be sure to make sure it is completely put out before leaving the fire.

The ideal location for nature lovers. We stayed outside and watched all the wild life for hours everyday. The seclusion, house, wild life and river made the perfect get away environment.

Our stay at the cabin was just wonderful. It is very clean, comfortable and easy to access from the main road. The view of the river and meadow is beautiful! We enjoyed watching deer and eagles (golden and bald) from the deck. We even had a moose sighting just up the highway!
