Pros: Brilliant stay in Cala de Mijas, apartment was a real home from home, great facilities. Close to local shops & bars. TV & DVD great but did struggle with Apple TV as we weren't in the UK. Big terrace to relax and downstairs pool area clean and perfect for a cool down. Have booked for 2014 and can't wait to go back. Owner is friendly and helpful.

Just a very short walk to the village but very quiet at nights. Everything was perfect. It's in a great spot and the outdoor terrace is just fantastic. Couldn't fault it.

Pros: Location easy to walk into La Cala, small hill but easy for almost all people. The winner for this lovely apartment was the large balcony and high quality outdoor furniture. Inside the penthouse was great but outside superb. Good communication from all parties, as we had heavy luggage the taxi pick up from and to the airport were smooth (50 euros each way), no problems. If small cases easy to get the train to Fuengerola and taxi from there (10/12 euros, we are hoping to return to this apartment in the near future and I would use Spain-Holidays again.

Pros: This apartment is just wonderful. The outside space is superb, with terraces surrounding the apartment on three sides that allow you to enjoy the sunshine from sunrise to dusk. The sun-loungers are the best we have ever experienced, so comfortable. There is also a lovely communal swimming pool reached via the lift. The apartment is located within an easy stroll of the shops and restaurants. Don’t be put off when you arrive thinking that Calablanca is well outside the town: appearances can be deceptive and it’s just a 10 minutes stroll to all the facilities. Some facilities are even nearer (an Asian buffet-style restaurant and a garage for the small essentials e.g. milk and bread). The Management Team looking after bookings is very friendly and helpful, as is the local support once you arrive. We stayed in April 2014 and are returning in October 2014, which is a recommendation in itself!

Pros: My partner and I stayed in this Penthouse for 10 nights and would highly recommend it as a base for a golfing holiday or for sun/relaxation. We made full use of all the amenities on offer; from table tennis to just relaxing on the fantastic sun terrace on wonderfully comfortable loungers. The complex was very quiet in September and we practically had sole use of the communal pool for the duration of our stay. The new Aldi store a short walk away was perfect for our daily essentials. We made the most of our hire car to explore the locality and there is plenty to see. However, a car is not essential as the main resort is just a 10 minute walk away. Just a couple of niggles: the covers on the terrace furniture are badly stained/ripped and could do with updating, and more detailed instructions on how to get English TV would be useful as we were unable to access it! We wanted to use the bikes but found the tyres were flat and there was no pump available. This is something that the management company should check between tenancies. But despite this we loved our stay and will definitely consider re-booking next year.

Pros: We werden welkom geheten met een dienblad met een drankje en wat lekkers erop "heel attent" aangezien we een late vlucht hadden. Het huis vooral het buitengedeelte was groter dan wij hadden verwacht, op de foto's lijkt dit veel kleiner. Het was niet echt heel schoon, het was overal nog erg stoffig en de ramen waren gewoon vies. Het appartement ligt op een leuke plek waar het lekker rustig is maar alles is in de buurt. Winkels, supermarkt en leuke restaurantjes. Een auto is wel prettig, je kunt hem goed kwijt op een eigen parkeerplek in de kelder en je ziet ook nog wat van de prachtige en vooral gezellige omgeving. Het appartement is lekker ruim en heeft veel ramen wat het lekker licht maakt, het heeft een prachtige tv waar we lekker films hebben gekeken en een sonos systeem waarmee je zowel binnen als buiten muziek kunt beluisteren. De bedden en het airco systeem zijn ook geweldig. Jammer vind ik de grand foulards op de banken dit doet goedkoop en rommelig aan en de douchecabine is erg klein. Een aanrader zou kunnen zijn om een buitendouche te bouwen voor wat afkoeling, daar is plek genoeg voor. Bedankt Øyvind voor je gastvrijheid en graag een keer tot ziens!

Ligging t.o.v. het zeer vriendelijke dorpje La Cala de Mijas was perfect en ook dit dorpje ademde een prettige sfeer. Wel toeristisch maar niet zodanig dat dit storend was. Zowel het penthouse als het dorpje zijn een aanrader.

Pros: Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse i La Cala de Mijas. Lägenheten är precis så fin som annonsen utlovar. Sköna sängar med mjuka bäddmadrasser (inte stenhårda sängar som de oftast är på hotell i Spanien enligt min erfarenhet). WiFi fungerade bra inne i lägenheten. Köket var bra utrustat, leta runt i skåp och lådor så hittar du det mesta som du behöver. Ordentlig hårtork/fön med redig styrka. I bokhyllan i hallen fanns det bla böcker, filmer, spel, guideböcker och tidningar. TV faciliteterna utnyttjade vi inte till fullo så där lämnar vi blankt. Balkongen med dess olika möbler och olika väderstreck var den största lyxen. Toppen! Garaget och den direkta kopplingen till hissen upp till lägenheten var mycket bra. Det vill säga när vi till slut hittade rätt nyckel på nyckelknippan och den rätta dörren till hissen. Det samma gällde första turen ner till poolen och upp igen. Vilken nyckel var det som gällde den här gången? Men sen var det inga problem när vi väl hittat rätt bland de alla nycklar som erbjöds på knippan. Poolen var fin och under vår tid där var det hela tiden någon som pysslande med antingen rengöring av den eller pysslade med växterna runt den. Vi tog oss uppfriskande simturer och det var barnfamiljer som hade det trevligt vid barnpoolen. Lägenheten var en utmärkt bas för de olika utflykterna som vi gjorde. Lätt att navigera oss ut på de olika vägar vi skulle ta. Självklart tog vi promenader ned till staden och stranden, en kort promenad på ca 5-10 minuter. Där blev det god mat och dryck vid olika restaurangers bord. Vi besökte även den lokala marknaden som sker på onsdagar och lördagar. Den ligger ännu närmre lägenheten. På den stora parkeringen bakom Wok restaurangen. Tre stora mataffärer lokaliserade vi. Den som vi gillade bäst var Mercadona. Detta pga att den bäst kunde täcka in varor för min gluten och laktos intolerans. Super Sol och affären vid lägenheten var också bra. Vi hann bara testa golf utrustningen i förrådet i garaget. Cyklar och tennisbord (på balkongen) får bli nästa gång. Kontakten med uthyraren (Oyvind) fungerade mycket bra och snabbt. Valerie hjälpte oss galant vid ankomsten. Hon mötte upp vid Wok restaurangen och guidade oss fram sista biten till lägenheten samt överlämnade första nyckelknippan och gav oss goda råd. Båda kontakterna var proffsigt och vänligt genomförda. Vi kan varmt rekommendera denna lägenhet. Vi kommer att komma tillbaka. Bara vi nu kan hitta någon ledig tid för oss i CalaBlanca Penthouse bokningskalendern.

Pros: Alles was gewoon perfect. Heerlijk groot terras, een plek om te zonnen, een plek om te relaxen, een plek om te eten en zelfs een plek om te tafeltennissen. Binnen was alle luxe aanwezig, TV, Apple TV, Sonos, vaatwasser en wasmachine. In de garage waren twee fietsen om even op en neer naar het dorp te gaan, terwijl dat maar 8 minuten lopen is. Het is strand op 10 minuten lopen. La Cala de Mijas is niet groot maar alles was aanwezig, van supermarkten tot apotheek. En natuurlijk de vele restaurantjes. Wij zijn er met ons gezin geweest en wij hebben met z'n allen diep nagedacht of wij een minpuntje konden vinden maar dit was er niet! Kortom een echte aanrader.

Pros: We hadden hoge verwachtingen. Op de foto's ziet het er allemaal super uit, maar zijn toch wel een paar minpuntjes tegengekomen. Het penthouse ligt in een leuke en rustige omgeving. Ideaal met een eigen parkeergarage. De terrassen zijn groot, mooi gemeubileerd en bieden veel privacy. De hele dag zon, met veel wind op de terrassen. Jammer dat de kussens van het buitenmeubilair vol vlekken zaten. De grand foullarts op de bank in de woonkamer zaten ook vol vlekken. Tevens was het appartement niet echt schoon bij aankomst. De bedden van de master bedroom waren prima maar waar waren de topmatrassen van de tweede slaapkamer? Hier waren de matrassen keihard. Hebben de kussens van de loungebedden op de bedden gelegd om te kunnen slapen. De sloten van de ramen en schuifdeuren gingen niet meer op slot. Deze zelf even gerepareerd. Dit heeft niets afgedaan aan onze relaxte vakantie. Het appartement is een prima uitvalsbasis voor dagtripjes en is absoluut niet gehorig. La Cala de Mijas is een gezellig plaatsje met voldoende restaurantjes maar wij vonden het toch prettig om een auto te huren en zouden dat ook zeker aanraden.

Pros: Leiligheten var som forventet. Dvs. meget velutstyrt og med god beliggenhet. Alt fungerteog tilgangen på en rekke norske TV stasjoner midt under OL var intet drawback! Været denne vinteren var vel ikke det beste, men selv i perioder med surt og guffent vær og vindstyrke opp til 15m/sek var leiligheten lun og god. AC fungerte prikkfritt. Vi hadde det bra!

Pros: Rustig gelegen, kleinschalig complex met enkele gebouwen. Penthouse vrij gelegen op derde verdieping, veel privacy en comfortabel. Moderne inrichting. Auto te parkeren in garage, vlak naast de lift, heel praktisch. Veel en zonnige terrasruimte bijna rondom, ruim voorzien van meubilair. De naast het complex gelegen Aldi volstond voor mij, onder andere met verse broodjes en fruit. Dorpscentrum en strand zijn makkelijk te belopen. Locatie vond ik tevens via de A7 goed gelegen om per auto zowel plaatsen vlakbij als verder weg te bereiken. De beschrijving op de website is juist, en ook na het boeken ontvang je nog extra informatie. Het contact met eigenaar en beheerder verliep per e-mail en ging vlot. De minder prettige lucht in de badkamer wordt opgelost.
