Wonderful Spot at Northstar

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Northstar! The spot looks like it have been renovated recently, has comfortable beds, and a great open living / dining room one the top floor. The kitchen is stocked with everything you might need to cook as well. It is a short walk to the rec center and hiking trails. There are buses that can be taken from the rec to King's Beach and Truckee is only 10-15 minutes away as well. We came in the summer but it is probably even better in the winter if you like to ski/snowboard. Hopefully we can come back soon!

This property is a little further away from the North Star Village compared to where we stayed before. This is a two level condo with about 10 large steps from first to second level. Two small bedrooms (the primary has a balcony) and one small bathroom downstairs (shower only). The rooms have big closets for clothing and luggage. There is a washer and dryer downstairs as well. The upstairs is very spacious with high ceiling. One large sectional couch, a large picnic type table and barstools at the breakfast nook. Plenty of kitchenware, pots and pans, utensils, etc. The balcony has 4 chairs and small table. The condo was very clean. The main king size bed was very comfortable. We are a couple, so if there were more people staying, it could be an issue with one small bathroom. We went at the end of August so it was very quiet in the area. There are about 15 steps to get to the door to the condo. Keep this in mind if you have mobility issues or lots of luggage. The condo is run by a property company. They are quick to respond to any questions or issues. There is access to the Rec center pool which was empty at this time of year! Overall a nice condo.
