You'll enjoy a secluded location on one acre of land, with a private trail that winds through the forest to the Salmon River. This home is in a moss-laden forest south of Mt. Hood Highway, nestled near the banks of the Salmon River. Spend the summer hiking and fishing at the Resort at the Mountain, one mile north; return each winter to ski and snowboard at Mt. Hood Skibowl, 14 miles east, Timberline Lodge, 20 miles east, and Mt. Hood Meadows, 25 miles east.



You'll love spending time in this beautiful, hand-hewn cedar cabin from the moment you wake up to the sounds of robins, blackbirds, and crisp mountain breezes moving through the trees. Use the stainless steel appliances to prepare homemade breakfasts, research new ski runs or hiking trails on the free WiFi, and return home to relax outside on the deck amid a peaceful and tranquil forest setting. This was a last minute idea to take in some of Mt. Hood area beauty before making our way to a week on the coast. We are SO glad we stayed. Lots of fun memories in this beautiful home shared by 3 generations. Tucked away in what felt like a woodsy wonderland, yet just a quick drive to some fun shops and plenty of places for food, groceries, etc. Sitting on the wrap around deck taking in the sounds and sights was remarkable and I can't wait to plan another trip to enjoy this gem.

This was the best Thanksgiving we ever had. The cabin was beautiful, it was clean and well stocked. We had a lovely quiet, relaxing holiday and can not wait until we can return for another stay.
