The Island Club is an oceanfront villa located at Folly Field, nestled right next to the beautiful beaches and golf courses that make Hilton Head Island a great vacation destination. The pools, including a zero-entry children’s pool and lap pool, are seasonally heated for your comfort.



This two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa includes a granite countertop kitchen attached to an open living area, which includes a 32-inch flatscreen TV, brand-new furniture, and access to a large, oceanview balcony. The primary bedroom includes a king bed, a 20-inch flatscreen TV, balcony access, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom provides convenient access to the hall bathroom, which is equipped with a shower/tub combination. Both bedrooms are equipped with brand-new mattresses, box springs, and new bed covers. Free WiFi is available for guests, as well as a private washer/dryer.

The lap pool, kiddie pool, and tanning shelf will close on the evening of October 29, 2023, and re-plaster work begins on October 30. The hot tub will close on the evening of November 24. (Due to the re-plaster work, there may be times when the hot tub is not available.) All pools are scheduled to re-open on March 2, 2024 (date subject to change due to construction).



The heaters for both the lap and kiddie pools will stay on during the spring until the weather changes. The heaters will be turned back on in the fall, depending on the weather.

Simply wonderful.

The complex is very nice ! However the new rules need fixed like the pool closing so early because not enough lighting. That should have been taken care of right away, this is not a vacasa issue I understand but should have been taken care of right away.

Perfect Beach Condo

This beachfront condo was perfect for my stay as it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Enjoy walks on the beach, where you may discover sharks teeth in the shells, jellyfish and horseshoe crab washed ashore, and witness fisherman catch fish, stingray, or shark. When not on the beach, sit on the patio and listen to the waves while you watch the bunnies. Highly recommend this rental.

Nice place, Great Views

Very nice place, could use a few updates, but the views are amazing. We have stayed at The Ocean Club for years and extended our trip this year by renting this ocean front room. Furniture on the balcony could use updating, water filter for ice maker needs changed, but those are minor issues. Over all, comfortable, clean and what we were expecting when booking this location. We will be back to The Ocean Club and will for sure look into renting this condo again.

Some of the furniture is dated, one of the chairs on the balcony was rusted out and my son sat on it and it collapsed. Luckily he was not hurt. Other than that the view was nice and the kitchen had a lot of good storage

The ocean view was nice. And I loved that we were able to walk to the beach. But The master bedroom was extremely hot the whole time we were there. A box fan didn't help. A family member slept on the couch because it was so hot. A ceiling fan might have helped or darker blinds? I did like that we were supplied with laundry soap and items like that. It was a very nice place! Our 4-year old keeps saying that he loved our condo and wants to go back.

Weekend Getaway

Close to the beach. Overall, the condo was clean and met our needs for the weekend. The A/C didn’t cool the bedrooms very well. The combination provided by the property manager didn’t work. We were able to get a key just before the property manager’s office closed for the day. The elevator needs some maintenance. There is a bad vibration when the carriage stops at different floors.

Needs remodeling

I read the reviews on this unit that said the same thing, but this place needs some work. Very small. Blinds in living room were broken, blinds in main bedroom should be replaced, sliding shower doors need repair or replaced (loose in their tracks), iron didn't work at all, wallpaper old and wearing in places, TV reception iffy. I was in condo for about a month, so these things might not bother someone staying for a week. Pool area is very nice, as is the ocean view from the balcony.

Thermostat is locked

We have stayed in numerous rentals including this one several times and never experienced a locked thermostat. The air flow in the master bedroom is poor and it stays warmer than the rest of the unit making it uncomfortable for sleeping. Vacasa is going to say it is necessary to prevent the hvac unit from locking up but in all of our visits to HHI and other beaches that has never happened to us. We will look elsewhere next summer.

Island Club 5403

This is a 5 star location with 1 or 2 star furnishings. The view of the ocean is stunning as are the sun rises. The check in and out services were also 5 star. The furniture and appliances are old. In the case of the appliances really old. The toilets are so old they are not low flow. The float sometimes worked and sometimes did not. One out of three of the tvs worked as expected. The living room set required two controllers and it seemed to only work correctly when the cabinet door below it was open. The small bedroom tv was very bad, but made no difference to us since there were only two of us. The stove had old style burners. None were level. The ice maker kind of worked. Fortunately there were ice cube trays we could use. The microwave door was screwy. The refrigerator door would bang open into the adjacent cabinet unless you held it. The phone was not connected. Some of the electric switches were on when the toggle was up and some when the toggle was down. There was a great supply of kitchen implements, but only six forks and 5 coffee cups. The bedroom was ok as were the towells and linens. We have owned a time share at Island Club for many years. It is a great place to visit. If 5403 was upgraded to the time share units quality it would be 5 star all the way.

couldn't have been nicer

Loved mostly the balcony view and enjoyed easy access to the beach. Parking handy, elevator good. The only thing was, if you're going to require trash cleaned out each day, you should provide replacement trash bags. We were very comfortable and pleased.

The ocean front view, beach and pool. Condo was clean. Master king bed could be more comfortable, but all in all the condo was great.
