Welcome to this cosy retreat, right under the roof: diFalko is a two-room holiday apartment in the peaceful southern part of Westerland. It’s located on the ground floor of a small apartment complex. From here, it’s only about 400 metres to the beach, less than a kilometre to city centre, and the bakery for fresh breakfast rolls is right around the corner.Even today, the promenade features summer spa concerts, the wooden promenade, architectural remnants from the heyday of the spa town, and authentic Frisian cookies—baked according to the original recipe from 1888—at Café Wien on Strandstraße. Friedrichstraße offers everything you’d expect when shopping and dining out are part of your relaxation routine; the surrounding buildings, filled with holiday apartments, boast—in some cases—stunning panoramic views of the city and/or the North Sea.
