Guest Access:
You will have full access to the entire home and all its amenities during your stay. The private hot tub is available around the clock -- no reservation needed. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.
The Neighborhood:
This Sea Ranch cottage is ideally located mere steps from Bluff Trail, where you can take a sunset stroll along the stunning Pacific coastline. The community features miles of bluff-top and coastal trails, tidepools, two heated community pools, a fitness center, tennis courts, and The Sea Ranch Lodge with its restaurant, lounge and café. Stock up in Gualala, just 10 minutes south, where you'll find grocery stores, restaurants, a hardware store, and gas. Bodega Bay is a beautiful drive for fresh seafood.
Getting Around:
The drive from San Francisco is approximately 2.5 hours via Highway 101 to Highway 1. Fly into Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa, about 1.5 hours east, and rent a car. The Highway 1 drive along the coast is spectacular and worth building into your travel day.

Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.
Visit in spring and the meadows explode with wildflowers. April through June is peak bloom season along the Sonoma Coast. The warmest months are June through September. Expect coastal fog most mornings that gives way to sunny afternoons.
Cell service can be spotty along the coast. The home has WiFi for staying connected. Driveway parking is available for one vehicle. You may drive to the home to unload, but the parking spot is limited to one car. Good to know: the homeowner lives on site in the main home. There is no full kitchen — the home has a cooking area with a 2-burner hot plate.
