Vacation apartment on the Peenestrom

Our holiday rental is located on the upper floor of the Peenehuus Cafe & mehr in the beautiful town of Neukalen, right on the harbour. Discover just how easy and relaxing a holiday can be. Nature, peace, and comfort—you can enjoy it all here with us right on the “Amazon of the North,” a beautiful river landscape in the heart of Mecklenburg. The holiday rental consists of a cosy room of approximately 37 square metres, including a kitchenette and dining table. The bathroom area is on the ground floor, one flight of stairs down, with separate facilities for men and women.<br>It’s a shared area for which you’ll receive a key, ensuring your privacy is maintained. The holiday rental was completely renovated and comfortably furnished in October 2021. The ground floor also houses the newly built “Cafe & mehr.” There, you can enjoy a meal or simply relax in a beach chair while taking in the harbour atmosphere. The proximity to Lake Kummerow invites you to explore nature on foot or by boat. You can also reach the Baltic Sea by boat via this lake. By car, the drive takes no more than an hour. You can also go fishing right on the harbour grounds. Neukalen features a sandy swimming beach on the Peene River. The nearby Kummerow Lake offers additional swimming opportunities as well as plenty of hiking trails.
