Located just a short distance from the “Altes Forsthaus Bodenmais,” this spacious holiday home offers a total of 213 m² of living space. It consists of two separate half-houses with their own entrances and can accommodate up to 9 people plus one child up to 3 years old.

This makes the house ideal for two families, couples who are friends, or a larger travel group who want to holiday together while still enjoying their privacy.

The first half of the duplex spans two floors and features four rooms.

The upper floor features two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy kitchen-diner with a dining area, a coat closet, a storage closet, a guest bathroom, and a charming living area in a rustic style.

The second half of the duplex also spans two floors and offers four rooms.

Both halves of the holiday home have their own terrace. Directly in front of them is a shared lawn with a magnificent panoramic view of the Bavarian Forest Nature Park—ideal for relaxing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors.

Children and dogs are very welcome here.

## Amenities and Services

Towels and bed linens are provided for your initial needs. A cot and a high chair are available upon request.

The holiday home does not have its own washing machine. You’re welcome to use our laundry service:

Upon request, you can also use our bread roll service. Our village baker regularly supplies us with fresh and delicious baked goods.

All holiday rentals are designed for self-catering.

Thanks to a fiber-optic connection, high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire holiday home.

Cell service is available via the D1 network with LTE. Reception from other carriers may be severely limited.

## Tourist Tax and GUTi Guest Card

The mandatory tourist tax must be paid on site:

* Adults: €3.60 per person per day
* Children and teens ages 6 to 16: €1.80 per day
* Children under 6: free

With the GUTi guest card, you can use buses and trains throughout the entire Bayerwald-Ticket fare zone free of charge.

The Altes Forsthaus is located about 3 kilometres south of Bodenmais, in a quiet, out-of-the-way area right next to the forest.

From Regener Straße, between the Bodenmais Camping Resort and Böhmhof, please follow the signs for “Altes Forsthaus.” The final stretch of the route leads along a graveled private forest road.
