This was a wonderful place, perfect for our adult kids to stay for a wedding weekend. They said they could have played "I spy" for days! Super clean. I was sad I didnt get to stay there myself and check out all of the interesting things to see. We ended up having to trade VRBOs due to number of guests in our parties, so I missed out! A lot of character in this cabin and wildlife! If you are a history buff, this place is for you! The only drawback could be the the spiral staircase for someone who isn't steady on their feet. Pay attention if you are outside! My kids saw a bear as they drove in! I would book this property again and recommend it to anyone going to Columbus area. Location is up the mountain and outside of town. Depending on the purpose of your trip, a convinience rating could be deceiving. We were visiting for a wedding ...so a lot going on and specific times to be places. The road going in is steep with a couple switchbacks, so taking our time getting in and out to get to town wasnt ideal for wedding week, but if you're wanting a mountain/cabin experience this is 5 stars over all! Communication was great with Mike as well!
