A Few Friendly Notes

I’m a small-time host and truly appreciate you considering my home for your stay—it means a lot! I’ve put a lot of care into making this a comfortable, easy place for guests to relax, and I’m always happy to help if you need anything.

Traveling with little ones?
You’re welcome to use the baby items in the primary bedroom closet, including a bassinet, bouncer seat, high chair, and pack & play.

This is an older home with a more simple, lived-in feel—but it’s very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for real-life stays. It works especially well for:
• Families with kids of all ages
• Groups of adults
• Sports teams or group travel

Just a heads up: there is one bathroom, so larger groups may want to plan accordingly.

If you have any questions at all before or during your stay, feel free to reach out anytime—I’m happy to help and want you to have a great experience here.
—Steen

About the host

Host profile image
I’m just a regular mom of three with big dreams and visions for fun short term rentals for your family and mine! I love thrifting, and I fill my homes with thrifted furniture that feel more like hanging out at a friend’s than staying in a short term rental. I pride myself in using local small businesses to furnish, clean, repair and help me maintain my short-term rentals. I understand the importance of great customer service and I take a lot of care to make things special for every guest that comes through my doors.

Why they chose this property

I love that this home is just one block from walking to water access but also has room for boat parking and a layout that is conducive of bigger groups or more than one family sharing a place. It’s a walkable community close to parks, including a playground. I really wanted to make this one fun so I added the game room and completely revamped the entire backyard. My whole family really looks forward to staying here as well!

What makes this property unique

This is not the kind of home where you have to worry about your kiddos breaking expensive decor (mostly everything is plastic, was just a few dollars, or is up high enough that it isn’t an issue), having pets (no weight limit), or feeling like it’s so perfect and sterile you have to stress. This is a place where you can relax and really spend time enjoying your crew, working from home, playing, or taking walks. You can even make this house your whole vacation if you want to! There is a foosball table, a small putting green, a fireplace and a fire pit out side and board games, card games and more inside.
