If you're looking for a tranquil lakeside retreat, this is your place! We really enjoyed our stay at Retreat 27. The lake is gorgeous. We brought a 21-foot runabout boat, dropped in at the gravel ramp on the far end of the lake, the ramp is steep at the top, but gradually flattens out for an easy launch. On the lake, you must do water sports in a counterclockwise rotation around the lake. Kids and adults alike took turns on the provided Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. The property grounds and driveway are a little rough, but easy to navigate. Inside the house is great - very comfortable furniture and beds, the kitchen is well equipped, and a gas stove top makes cooking easy. Our kids really enjoyed the billiards table and the arcade machines. Two of the upstairs rooms have a little stagnant airflow, so bring a fan. The large upstairs room is very cool with its separate split system. Overall a very nice spot to spend a few days
