The apartment was newly remodeled and clean. However, there were many details unfinished. The shower is not roll in. It is small and you could roll a wheelchair up to it. The windows in the picture did not yet have window covering but we expected upon arrival. The main window was frosted and the half circle above had no covering. The light that would have come in at night would have been a problem but the main problem is that there was a 360 CAMERA that the city had installed with a direct view to the bedroom. The Main Street below is not wheelchair accessible. The parking lot is sloped so a wheelchair cannot get out of. The alley to get the street is narrow and uneven with cars that wouldn’t be able to see people walking or in a wheelchair so it’s not safe. The final straw was the message we received shortly after check in stating we couldn’t park in the parking lot due to it being resurfaced. There is not other way in to the property without stairs. We did not stay due to multiple issues and found a motel. The host contacted us via phone the next day apologizing and stated that they would refund our money in full but we are still waiting for the refund. Some of these issues can be fixed but if you are wheelchair dependent, know that you will not have direct access to the Main Street easily or be able to roll directly in to the shower.
