Places of interest in the neighbourhood: The Plassenburg Kulmbach and the tin figure museum. The historical night watchman tour in the town of Kulmbach (dates - town of Kulmbach). The Steinach Gorge between Presseck and Stadtsteinach invites you to hike and relax, and you can also set off from there on the Mill Trail. Raft trips on the wild Rodach (town of Wallenfels) are also possible in the summer months. The town of Kronach with its marvellous old town and the Rosenberg fortress invites you to linger. In the winter months, you can visit the salt grotto in Seibelsdorf or the Crana Mare fun pool in Kronach.
In the neighbouring village, 1 km away, you can buy bread rolls and everyday essentials. Inexpensive shopping facilities (such as Netto, Norma or REWE) are nearby, less than 5 to 10 minutes away. There is a public outdoor swimming pool in the neighbouring village approx. 6 km away.
