Guest access:
Guests have private access to the entire home and the surrounding land and there are no shared spaces. Please make yourself at home.
Home is accessed via unpaved gravel roads.

Other things to note:
* Yosemite Entry: UPDATE: No reservations are required to enter Yosemite National Park for all of 2026.
Please check the official Yosemite website for the most current park information during your stay. We are not responsible for road closures.
* Firepit is unavailable for use during the fire season of May1st-Nov1st.
* Water is filtered at the kitchen sink and at the fridge and is safe to drink.

🐕Pet Policy:
* We welcome your well‑behaved, potty‑trained pets.
* Please message us and disclose all pets at the time of booking. Pet fee applies per pet; any additional pets will be billed after booking.
* Pets must stay off all furniture, or you may use covers.
* Pets must be crated when unsupervised.
* Yards are not enclosed, so we may not be ideal for pets who tend to run.
* Please bring your own pet supplies.
* Additional charges will apply for: Excessive pet hair on furniture; Urine or feces cleanup; Damage to furniture or property; Torn or stained towels; Carpet or upholstery cleaning; (Damage/extra cleaning fees may be up to $250.)

🛜Power, Internet and Utilities:
* Internet speeds may be slower than in urban areas. Our mountain community occasionally experiences power outages or internet interruptions.
* If power is out only in one area, check for a tripped GFI outlet and press the reset button.
* If the whole house is out, it is a PGE area‑wide outage. Please notify us so we can monitor updates.

⛰️Nature, Wildlife and Safety:
* This home is surrounded by nature. Critters such as insects, frogs, squirrels, spiders, and even snakes can be present in the mountains.
* Keep doors and windows closed so nothing crawls, walks, or flies inside.
* Never leave children or pets unattended.
* Be cautious around rocks and boulders—they can be slippery and dangerous. Climb at your own risk. Be cautious when entering any body of water. Nature is beautiful but not always benign. Please stay aware of your surroundings and follow mountain safety protocols.

🚾Septic System:
We run on septic. ONLY flush toilet paper.
Do NOT flush wipes (even “flushable”), feminine products, paper towels, or anything else.

🚭Smoking
This is a strictly non‑smoking property.
Fines will be assessed if any smell or evidence of smoking is found.

🏡General House Expectations:
*Please remember you are staying in a home, not a hotel. Treat the space with respect.
*Parties are not allowed.
*We will always do our best to address issues quickly, but there is no on‑site staff, and vendor availability in the mountains can be limited.
*Everything is in working order, but repairs may not always be possible during your stay.
